**NVIDIA DOOR HANGER COMPETITION**

One more question before I nake... sorry.. make my artwork public ;-)

1. Why all the pictures here do have GeForceGTX logo, whether I can see claws only in attached in post #1 ZIP file ? I'm a bit confused, I didn' use AI file - it this a reason ? :)
2. Do we have to use ALL included claws (gray, green and textured), or it depends on us - which one and how many ?

1. The reason that we all have Nvidia logo's is because the rules state that the door hanger must "represent the essence of GeForce" but there is a limit as they also state "You cannot use any 3rd party material in your design, no screen shots, characters from games, movies, books or comics as we will not be able to print anything that infringes copy write law." using 3rd party graphic even 'Nvidia branded/ing' or OcUK maybe infringement, remember that unless you have been given written permission (under license) from the rights holder to use a specify graphic you are technically breaking copyrighting laws.

2. Re-reading the rules makes me believe that you only have to use one, but you can use more if you so wish. You must not change the colours on the Nvidia logo tho nor the OcUK logo.

Ok quick update on mine, I have now finished the rendering on the fan part of the GPU and added the basic outline of the cooling fins. I had a feeling that mine was going to take a while ....... with it completely rendered from scratch :(

pretty nice progress so far

Cheers bud :) now I have most of the complex layout sorted pretty much hopefully it should see quicker progress now :D:cool:

Ethermaster I love the concept, think you're onto a winner there.

Thanks fella :) as you may know these kinda renders take ages to actually put together, then you have the nightmare of the lighting effects.

Can anyone suggest a good free alternative to use for this comp? As it needs to edit .psd files (this comp would seem to appear to only a select few who can afford software like that and possibly give them a slight advantage).

Tried the trial a while back and it expired.

^ 2nd it for using gimp, although photoshop has gone over to creative cloud now so it's a monthly cost rather than a huge lump fee.

£8.78 a month for photoshop, lightroom and bridge. Which is a steal if you use it all the time.
