But Gregster, how do you set up G-Sync?![]()
Can someone explain what happens a Gsync monitor is used on a PC not capable of achieving the refresh rate of that monitor?
For example I run FO4 on Ultra apart from the odd setting and it looks stunning but get no more than 60fps (maybe this is the wrong game to explain as FO4 has a problem above 60fps), what would happen on a 144Hz Gsync monitor with Gsync on? Would it still run at 60 ish fps but still benefit from the non tearing features?
As I tend to run games at Ultra settings I rarely achieve more than 60fps so would a 144Hz monitor even be worth it?
Andi.
I have the Acer XB240H and just upgraded my GC to a Zotac GTX1070 AMP Extreme from the Radeon R390. However, ' G-Sync ' option isn't showing in the Nvidia driver settings. Am using the latest drivers and connected via display port.
Is there something wrong with what I'm doing or is there two versions of this particular monitor as I've got a Nvidia 3D ready sticker on the top left hand corner, but no Mention of G sync
Greg can you change me from the ROG Swift to the x34 Predator. Can't remember if I posted when I upgraded.
Dell S2716DG here when it was £379.99 including vat, bargin price.
