**Nvidia G-Sync owners thread**

I would struggle to lose G-Sync. That was the one thing I missed whilst using the FX in truth and no fault of the FX but it just made games seem meh in comparison.

Dice.

On the monitor:

Brightness 40
Contrast 50
Colour temp - R 95

Then in the NCP I have:

Brightness 45
Contrast 45
Gamma 0.80

Digital Vibrance +63

Hue 2o

That works well for me and that is what Andy gave me way way back.

@ Dice - Yes mate, just the Red at 95

@ Si - Just 2 bud. Anymore starts to switch colours about and it looks nasty :D

Lol, needed food and a scrub. Nowt to eat since dinner time. Up and running now. A bit of flickering at start up but grand in windows. Image looks nice and viewing angles are very good for a TN panel. Not quite the standard of my old VA benq but pretty ok.

Run those settings bud and see what you think. I felt out the box colours were far too bright and needed toning down a bit.

Having an issue with refresh rates guys, only running at 24Hz, cant select anything higher. Native res of 2560x1440. Nothing happening either when pressing the turbo key on the monitor.

Using DP and have you reinstalled drivers and running a single monitor just to be safe?

That's a very strange one and something I have never heard or seen before. Have you made sure that Windows is set for 120Hz desktop and have you installed the monitor driver (shouldn't need to but you never know).

My Swift has been flawless and I have owned it for quite some time now.

So then..... Who has one of these or wants one of these?

I must be getting old (or skint), as I am quite happy with my Swift. I wouldn't mind seeing that screen up close though and seeing if it would be worth swapping out but you are a bit too far from me Neil :(

Set 120Hz for desktop
Set G-Sync in the NCP
Set V-Sync in the NCP
Don't set V-Sync in games

That's it. Don't worry about setting frame limiters or anything else as it caps to 143.5 and that keeps you within G-Sync parameters

You should always limit fps below hz in game. If you're not limiting fps ingame with gsync on you're doing it wrong.

With G-Sync and V-Sync on in the NCP, it is already limiting frames to 143.5, which is the best scenario to have if you are hitting above 144 frames. This has always been the case for me and I have never seen a reason to run a frame cap and I always know when G-Sync isn't on/working.
