**Nvidia G-Sync owners thread**

I be upgrading that's for sure. I want 1440p 144hz display and I'll happily wait for Freesync to try it.

Hoping it don't add input lag to csgo like Gsync does.

Well if you are waiting for Freesync, you are obviously spouting your rubbish in the wrong thread, as this is the G-Sync owners thread. I suggest you give up because you are just annoying the folks who own G-Sync. I created this thread for those that own it or at least have justified questions on the tech and not to start G-Sync Vs Freesync. There is many other Freesync threads you can talk about how Freesync adds no lag to CS:GO but this isn't the one. You have had 6 posts deleted from this thread already, I don't think you want anymore?

And the reason I came in here is to keep on topic what we was talking about in earlier thread. Did you notice that video linked to me? In here?

I have no idea what you are on about? This is the G-Sync owners thread, not a mud slinging thread.

Edit:

Just looked back and seen. Still not sure why you feel the need to carry on like you have though?

im curious, do you guys now cap your max frames now? or just let it run wild? because say if you getting 400fps the screen i doubt would be able to keep up anyway?

just curious :)

I have them capped in BF4 to 135 but going to run it uncapped to see if the CTE patch has helped.

I'm getting more and more impressed with it the more i use it. Just played some smite on it with everything maxed at 144hz and couldn't believe how smooth it felt and how crisp motion is. Find myself just sitting there spinning the camera around lol.

Just about to try crysis 3, hope it's just as good :D

You will be impressed with Crysis 3. I hated the game but with G-Sync running, I completed it from a new game :D

A good video here of how G-Sync works from the tech report. Captured on a 240fps camera and showing the differences massively.

Add me please gregster. :)

Done :)

My display snobbery prevents me from purchasing a TN panel, but this looks awesome. Are TNs better than they used to be?

They are but the difference I have noticed with the Swift is colour shift. When I had the Samsung 4K, it was very good for colour shift but the Swift seems to suffer it quite notably. Not a spoiler, as generally I sit in front of it when gaming or doing anything but it does show if you move from side to side.

My other monitor is an Asus VG278H and has none of the colour shift and that is a 27" TN panel, so it can be done. When comparing the TN of this monitor to the IPS Dell I had, I would take the Swift everyday of the week though. No tearing, no stutter and no input lag (that I have ever noticed).

TN or not, this is the best monitor I have owned.

@ Blitzkreig - Added bud :)
