**Nvidia G-Sync owners thread**

Had my Swift for a while now, really enjoyed using it for gaming. Tearing be gone!

I was wondering though - is it supposed to show up as 'Ancor Communications' in the nvidia control panel?

Yer, mine does as well. it does say ROG a little further along the line when setting up multiple displays.

It means nigh on £700 pound for a 1440P monitor, I know it has G-Sync but come on, I have the choice of getting this monitor but the price is just no.

Hopefully there'll be more soon so Asus will be forced to lower prices.

Well show me another 1440P 144Hz monitor? In fact, show me another 1440P that does 3D at 1440P? In fact, show me another 1440P monitor that does G-Sync...

I thought the price was high but when you see the feature set, you understand why and when you use one, the last thing you care about is the price, as you will be gaming like never seen before.

Yer, it isn't something I have noticed but then again, not something that would bother me on a 0 frame loading screen. I did chuckle at this comment.

Was that you Shanks? :p

:D

Do we have any owners who have noticed this issue of the 0 frame flicker? I have really tried to see it but maybe I am just not seeing it?

Any other owners who want to be added to the OP as well? I am sure there is quite a few of you out there.

Apparently it is only noticeable on 0 frames scenarios, so basically, loading screens. Unless of course Shankly has seen it in other scenarios? :D

G-Sync and SLI is running perfect. I get hitching now and then with 3 cards, so I have set a Titan to run as PhysX :D

Now running sweet as a single card :)

Looking forward to the upcoming 27" Acer, same panel as the swift. 144Hz, 2560x1440 but hopefully a bit cheaper. Anything with ROG in the title has a high mark up straight off the bat.

Yer, ROG comes at a premium price. The choice was limited and I seriously wanted to try G-Sync and 144Hz at 1440P was worth the premium to me. A shame it doesn't make me a better BF4 player but at least I die nice and smoothly :D

Rog swift owner here.

And on the honors roll :)

Good stuff, va/ips I'm not fussed about. Will check the Acer out when available.

People make a big deal of IPS being far superior to TN but both have their swings and roundabouts. I personally found the IPS I had was good for slow paced games but with anything rapid and requiring lightning reflexes, the Input lag was terrible. The beauty I found with IPS was the ability to sit anywhere or look from anywhere and the colour stayed and didn't ghost but if I look from underneath my monitor, it ghosts on the colour. No biggie for me, as I tend to look straight on when gaming anyways (unless I am drunk and then I don't care anyway) :D
