My cards have shipped gibbo, but i didnt get a email with my 2x nvidia promo codes for the games... i plan on selling one on the mm and keeping one any info on this, you last said to me that once shipped i would get them lol

Can you still do this? Didn't Nvidia pull a stunt earlier in the year tying game codes to graphic cards so you could only redeem them yourself?
 
DS230, picked it up from OcUK on release. It's a lovely case, just not the greatest for airflow etc. Gonna give it a default fan profile I think, shave a few C off.

For info, my eVGA 1080 FTW ran at a similar temp and possibly slightly louder so it bodes well :)

Did you go for the standard or extreme? I'm gong gigabyte as I found the 1080 variant excellent and very quiet.

yeh i got a Fractel Design XL R2
i've tried every fan arrangement with extensive testing found Perfect layout

Got Side Fan & bottom as Intake running at 400rpm at full load & back/top running at 200rpm(noctuas)
my 1080 FE runs at 77C on default fan profile :)
 
Thanks for the info Gibbo and I hope the week hasn't been too hefty for you judging by where you have been.

I was the 97th person to preorder the STRIX guys so I'm not expecting to recieve one before Easter :(. You never know, people may have switched cards which will help me slide down the queue. Fingers crossed then guys. It's tempting to switch to the extreme as more are coming into stock soon! Enjoy your AIB cards those who will receive them in the next few days :)
