**Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / 980 Review Thread**

970s more expensive than i guessed, must be premium for a launch?

£259 to about £310.

The 980s are £439+

Dissapointing. The 970s shouldnt be more than £250.

Hmm strange i read one of them and they said its display port 1.2 not 1.3? Surely it should be 1.3 by now since vesa just updated it not long ago???

You seen the 300 quid 970 with Core Clock: 1203MHz, Boost Clock: 1355MHz. If that has more oc room that will be a good card but.. The price is quite the premium.

NVIDIA's MSRP is £259 for 970 and £429 for 980 in the UK with VAT.

USD MSRP's are without tax.

yeah people seem to be missing this is the gm 204 not the gm 200 :o

+1

I am waiting for GM200 Titans

These 970 and 980s lose a lot of performance compared to the 780ti when max/very high settings are used even at 1080p and 1440p.

Gibbo where are the Classifieds? Could it be that Maxwell scales so well without voltage they aren't even needed? :O

I shall test with more voltage soon.

But Classy's are not on roadmap, but am sure they will come, but probably end of year!
