**Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti Review Thread**

I'm a bit gutted about my titan x purchase. I never expected this card to be this cheap. Excellent move nvidia. I got my titan x cheap. So I can't really complain but man, this card is going to sell truckloads

No need to feel gutted, The TX has 256 more CUDA cores and 6GB more memory both of which come in very handy especially at 4K where I've seen upwards of 8 or even 10GB used in certain games.

Don't forget we're only really on the what ? 2 or 3rd proper driver since the TX launched, Plenty of room for tweaking :)

Clock vs clock the TX is faster, also remember when people said the 3GB of the 780Ti was enough and futureproof ? :D 1 year later.... BOOM

Why? The Titan X is still Faster. I'm extremely happy with my Titan X. Glad I paid under £800 for mine:)

GTAV already using 7gb RAM at 1440p here!

All ultra yes sir. Glad to be a Titan X owner with 12gb:D

I really want to know how Assetto Corsa performs at 1440p with one of these. I'd be tempted to sell my 2 x 290s and grab one if the performance is comparable.

+1

People also need to remember the drivers for the TX have improved since their launch when looking at reviews for the 980ti.

The TX and 980ti use the same chip so anything in new drivers will benefit both of them and it would be wrong to say the 980ti is on early drivers like one review site stated.

The 980ti is a top notch card though and performs much as I guessed yesterday in another thread.

Anyone looking for a 2 card 2160p setup should look seriously at the 980ti.

As for me I will soldier on with my old cards.;)

I want one :(

Can I ask has Nvidia basically bumped up their prices across the range of cards when compared to previous series. And is the Titan X simply a ploy to make the 980Ti look like good value? Just something I read somewhere.

This as 980ti is a Titan X just a cluster lobbed and half ram, but same PCB and same GPU.

It won't hurt Titan X though as it's still the best card and the 12GB is very attractive to many buyers on 4k! :)

Any chance of the prices budging at all under 800 ?

Someone mentioned 699 (wtf?) in the UK but I have spent the last week or so checking everywhere and can't find anything a lot cheaper than the OCUK TX.
