**Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti Review Thread**

Bored of the waits. Its good enough, and cheap enough to make me not care abou7t waiting for AMDs launch. Thats if the prices are the same as on the evga site.

Guys

Not long now, stock is extremely limited so will be sold out within seconds I am sure. Higher volumes due next week onwards.

Also stop talking about prices elsewhere, our rules have not changed and if people can't follow simple rules suspensions will happen.

Yes reference cards are Titan X PCB but none reference no idea what PCB they use.

lol does any1 know where the ichill card was linked from?
i was fapping over that while it got removed :(

and i agree with boom, tx should beat it in benchmarks u wouldnt use it much kap!?, booms sensible lol :)

? No, you need to adjust for Nvidia's brilliant manipulation of the graphics card market and the seemingly large amount of people that are silly enough to A. Buy the Titan cards and B. Get taken in by that "halo pricing" of the Titan cards and therefore think the 980Ti at £550+ is a good deal - "Pfft look at that silly priced Titan X at £800, the 980Ti for £550 - now that is a great deal..."

Nvidia's pricing and marketing has been an absolute business masterstroke in recent years. It is a shame so many people have been taken in by it and actually pay the outrageous prices they are asking. If they didn't, we would have 980Ti's being released at the £400 mark (ie what the top tier cards used to be priced at)

Of course AMD's lack of competition is not helping either.

Completely agree, I'd be gutted if I'd bought a Titan X.

£550-£600 is pretty eye-watering for even a high end GPU. Lack of competition is painful.

Got to give it to nVidia - great marketing. Get all the fans boys dribbling in their pants at how much of a bargain the card is compared with the Titan X despite the fact it's not actually a bargain. Whoops, you just overpaid for your Titan X :D

Haha I'm far from sensible the amount of GPU switching I do :p. I was just playing Devil's Advocate. If Kaap will get some use from a 980 Ti then why not just go for it. You only live once, might as well do the stuff you enjoy lol.

I think the only card I would switch to now would be of AMD's flagship beats the TX well. Nvidia's CEO has just confirmed that their next GPU's are going to be Pascal on 14nm next year. So anyone on a Titan X or 980 Ti will be set for the next year.

Just need to see what AMD bring to the table..

What's the current stipulation on accessing the MM? Probably going to shift my Titan X for a pair of TI's otherwise it's a reddit/ebay sale again :/ I'm selling and buying purely because I can - I'm well aware that there is little need to do so but if you're going to play the PC game you might as well play it properly :)

Also do OCUK only have the reference cards at 1400 today or are we going to see some EVGA, MSI etc coolers?
