**Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti Review Thread**

That's what I'm doing! Although not many places that ship to Ireland sadly.

I want two Superclocked editions if possible. :D

That PSU can easily handle Dual Titan X right now. I have the same one, and I'll be getting to 980 Ti's.

This one? EVGA SuperNova G2 1000W '80 Plus Gold' Modular

Good to know, looks like I'm set for a few years of 4k gaming

It will sell out very quick I have no doubt.

I'm not buying I have a titan X, but it's exciting to see others go crazy lol

Then the rats who run the rat race the fasted are welcome to it.

This isn't Dragon Eggs we are talking about here. This is a mass produced consumer product, produced in large numbers, to be sold in large numbers. People scrambling and clawing over each other to grab one of these asap are suckers.

AMD Fiji XT around the corner.

All the reviews state that it would be wise to hold of on new GPU upgrades until them. They know something but cannot say in as many words. Nvidia know something as well, hence getting in first, before the trade shows with thier GTX 980 ti.

There will be plentiful supplies of both red and green high end GPUs.

? No, you need to adjust for Nvidia's brilliant manipulation of the graphics card market and the seemingly large amount of people that are silly enough to A. Buy the Titan cards and B. Get taken in by that "halo pricing" of the Titan cards and therefore think the 980Ti at £550+ is a good deal - "Pfft look at that silly priced Titan X at £800, the 980Ti for £550 - now that is a great deal..."

Nvidia's pricing and marketing has been an absolute business masterstroke in recent years. It is a shame so many people have been taken in by it and actually pay the outrageous prices they are asking. If they didn't, we would have 980Ti's being released at the £400 mark (ie what the top tier cards used to be priced at)

Of course AMD's lack of competition is not helping either.

£550 ain't too bad, I paid around £470 for an 8800gtx, and around £460 for a 7970.

It's is a hard one tbh because since the release of the titan's you automatically can't help saying "wow £550 for a card with titan performance!!" it really is genius of nvidia tbh, although I have a feeling this time around the current Titan owners have felt the sting a little bit more so hopefully nvidia won't be able to keep playing the same trick.

Great been waiting for a reviews so out go my SLI 4GB 670 to single 980 6GB Ti can't wait was going to get a Titian X.

This upgarde will last a good while as l game at 1440p.

Tell that to the kepler 780/Titan owners. I would expect a couple of years before it starts struggling like the 780ti.

I will be buying two but not for a few months. Holidays coming up, plus a bit of home redecoration needs to come first.

Looking forward to hearing the reports of how they perform :)

The trash talk in this thread is getting a little tiresome. Can we give it a rest? We are all adults so act like it. The jokes been made on both sides. Drop it. It's not productive.
