**Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti Review Thread**

my old cards somehow the reference design can overclocked more than brands design. i think its depend on luck .

It's always luck unless you buy a classy, that's why I haven't bothered with the SC card this time round. But I'll put the SC BIOS on for higher base clocks. But I am under water. :)

Did the prices inflate? Some of the 980's was over £500 not long ago. I bought mine £470.

No? Some of the 980Tis are over £600.

The 980s seemed to start at about £430 at launch for reference designs (though other retailers had custom ones for around that/not much more). The 980ti is starting at about £540 for reference/non custom cards.

Basically around £100 difference in price. I suspect the 980 will now drop by anout £50-£75 across the range.

Hybrids are up for pre-order!! £649!! No ETA though.

That's the one(s) I'll be going for in a few months time for a new build I reckon.

Have to say that's more reasonable pricing than I thought. I was fully expecting the basic ref cards to be £650 bang on.

£550 + 100 notes for the '980 hybrid cooler' (which is about what they cost direct from EU EVGA)? Plus it's all pre fitted so there's no messing about. Good stuff.

Not too sure on the colouring though. Perhaps some sort of black, 'beige', and silver case scheme might be in order. Would make a nice change from the usual adolescent neon day glo stuff I guess

hol' up, don't I get Batman:AK?! xD

Like others have said, smart move by nvidia with regards to their pricing strategy and when you get over the initial omg TX performance for £560?! and think about it, the 980 TI is still expensive for what it is as the TX should have never been £800+ in the first place.

Imo, the 980ti should take the current 980 pricing model of about £400/450 and as a result the 980 should drop to £300/350
