**Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti Review Thread**

Only problem with the 295x2 is that the crossfire drivers need to be constantly upto date and they haven't been tbh. I should know, switched to 980's from mine a couple of months ago (and I loved it when it worked great!)

Experience has been like night and day in regards to support

but the 980ti is not the fastest card though - I`ve had a gtx 480 die from dodgy nvidiaq drivers turning off the fan , and a lengthy thread on futuremark forum about drivers and titanx issues - so both IHV`s do have issues not just the red team.

a shame gainward don't do a step up programme - although the 980 I have is still nice

10mhz base is not worth thinking about when you can overclock them 250mhz on a ref
look for the one that fits what you want to do :)

AIB reviews should be good!

Classified will offer better stability under an over clock over the rest of the evga range.

And who doesn't like duel BIOS :)

Never overclocked a GPU and never pushed my i5 3570k further than 4.2 when I had it.

So I'm thinking about the EVGA 980 ti SC ACX, It will be easier to sell on when the next TI comes out if I don't go SLI then.

The Hybrid would be nice to have but I can't see many people wanting to go for that thing second hand.

Will be very interesting to see how the EVGA Hybrid 980Ti compares with AMD's AIO 390 offering... if they ever get around to releasing it!

So if I am reading things right, 20% more performance, 20% more cost, and 30% more power consumption than a 980.

Meaning that SLI 980s are the best option if I am limited to a 750w PSU?

SLI 980's should be good, low temps and therefore noise, and faster than a single 980ti. So long as 4GB is enough vram.

Don't think I'd want to do 980ti SLI on a 750w PSU myself, doesn't leave much wiggleroom, if any.

can someone give me benchmarks of gtx 980 ti in sli on 4k but while gaming in ultra mode?!!

every where there are benchmarks but its only in medium game sattings at 4k..doesnt really show the true colours of gtx 980 in sli

Loop pains are a good way of keeping us away from the temptation that is GPU upgrades we don't really need :D

Despite having ordered a 980ti, that order fell through, so now without, and this is once again what is putting me off.

Three cards to dismantle, get (lots of) ram sinks off, refit coolers, re-test each card, test new cards with attached cooler, remove cooler from new card(s), attach blocks, test one by one (if more than one), make sure no new leaks...

Meh...

I've got Titan X SLI @4k and play at Ultra.

What benchmarks specifically do you want to see?
