**Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti Review Thread**

Any news on OCUK for deliveries today? Have any batches arrived? (i'm looking at the EVGA GeForce GTX 980Ti Superclocked ACX 2.0 myself)

I just had a chat with one of the guys and they said they expect containers to be delivered at around 4PM today, any 980Ti orders will be fulfilled in time for next day delivery tomorrow

I've got two normal ones, I'll just flash the SC BIOS on them to get the higher base clocks.

EK-FC blocks keep looking at me wondering when the cards will arrive.

:D

I'm not going to be able to get mine in a loop till end of the month as thats when my loop kit will arrive. Going to be running full stock for the mean time, only reason I didn't purchase a classified and remove the need to block it myself was that I haven't currently got a GPU in my machine and whilst my 4790k can give me FPS, it isn't fantastic. ;)

Sweet! Thanks... hope I wasn't too late getting my order in.

I don't know if this has been posted already, but the performance of an overclocked 980ti is amazing. It makes me want to buy one instead of a 970/980 later this month.

Though in the long run, I might as well go for 970 for 1080 for now and then spend a lot on Pascal when that eventually releases. Can't wait to see more non-reference 980ti's like Gigabyte G1 or the MSI Gaming. I hope they are priced nice and below £600.

Edit: Oh, the pre-order price for the MSI Gaming is below £600, while the G1 is above. Well then that's an easy choice then XD

I've gone with stock as I've got the same plan as you to get it under water as soon as. Went with the standard reference as I can save a bit by just OCing it myself

Thanks, sorted then :)

Jesus that is insane. Very impressive! Glad I went with a non reference 980ti now.

Summary from the above video (1080p benchmarks):

980ti vs 980 SLI

  • W3 - 92 vs 95 FPS
  • Assassins Creed - 85 vs 100 FPS
  • Far Cry 4 - 102 vs 104
  • Shadow of Mordor - 135 vs 157
  • Ryse - 110 vs 118
  • Crysis 3 - 116 vs 114
  • Battlefield 4 - 125 vs 138
  • Tomb Raider - 170 vs 217

Aren't the 980ti's supposed to perform better at higher resolutions aswell? So if they did a benchmark video with 4k, the 980ti should be slightly better than 980 SLI?

Once the 980s run out of their 4gb vram the 980ti will outperform 980SLI at higher resolutions.

I thought I read somewhere on here that delivery is expected about 4PM, so another hour yet. Let's see if there is any stock then.

I ordered the original 'reference design' stock EVGA the moment the site had them up, but I changed today to the EVGA Superclocked ACX 2.0 and he said I'm now the 63rd person to order or something like that. So even so, I don't think mine will be dispatched today :( Really crossing my fingers though lol.
