**Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti Review Thread**

From what I have seen so far the G1 is the card to go for.

I don't think this will change until we see EVGA Classified or MSI Lightning editions.

I have also seen pics of a HOF card that is designed for extreme benching but I think all these cards will cost more than the Gigabyte G1.
I think the MSI gaming might be just as good as the G1, maybe trading a bit of performance for a quieter operation. Even the ACX 2.0 isn't far off, I don't think the G1 is "the one to get".

P.S. Video comparison of the noise output of G1, ACX2 and Inno3D

Nice review that made me think twice about the G1. Waiting for MSI before deciding, but that Inno3D seems very interesting, also considering the price.

The MSI cooler on my 980 gaming is brilliant. It is so quiet i never hear it, even after playing Witcher 3 for hours (where the card is pegged at 100% usage most of the time)

From anything I've read, heard or seen, this MSI cooler really does seem to be one of the best cooling solutions in terms of temps and noise.

I've gone from wanting the Titan style cooler, to one of these for my next card, the exception being the AIO of the FuryX.

I find these noise comparison videos to be a little misleading generally, unless you know precisely the setup when recording the sound. When I first saw this it completely put me off picking up a G1 because of how whiny it sounds at full load. However, Jayz2cents also did a small noise comparison and the G1 sounds fantastic:

Both where taken at 100% load without custom fan profiles (I assume) on open benches, and yet both, in my opinion, sound completely different. Which do I believe?!

Anyone reconmend a good 980 Ti to fit an EK Thermosphere to? I'll have a couple spare when I sell my 970's this week. Ideally it would have heatsinks on the vrms that can be used in conjunction with the Thermoshere (i.e like this but I don't mind adding my own heatsinks (again, any reconmendations?).
