Wow, that's got to be GM200.

I don't think we'll see a consumer version until 16nm but still, that's 50% more shaders and memory bandwidth than GM204, so a huge boost over 980.

If this indeed GM200 (Tesla) it means it's ready to go now and already being tested. Should launch on 28nm within next few months. Nvidia will be waiting for AMD to show their hand and then drop the GM200 bomb shell.

This is the first legit benchy, this is most likely Tesla GM200, with the consumer GeForce chip coming with 6GB DDR5 and with compute gimped. It will be an absolute monster !!

How do you know AMD aren't the ones waiting to drop the bombshell?

Maybe Fiji BTFO's GM200. And bear in mind 290X embarrassed Titan with far fewer (~30%) transistors. Fiji will have as many as Titan.

Titan, Fiji? Red Dwarf anyone? :D

AMD will always have something to counter and then Nvidia, it's how the game is played, and how we have empty wallets :o

Looking forward to 20nm + HBM from AMD and GM200 from Nvidia, the age of the behemoth GPU's is upon us :D:p

Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan II reportedly detailed alongside GTX 960

As we're approaching two months on from the release of the GeForce GTX 970 and GTX 980, Nvidia is preparing to launch a few more cards to slot into their Maxwell line-up. Rumor has it that one of these cards will be the GeForce GTX Titan II, based on GM200 silicon.

The GTX Titan II will be manufactured using a 28nm process - the same as Nvidia's existing Maxwell parts - and will allegedly feature a whopping 3,072 CUDA cores: over 1,000 more than the GTX 980. There's also a wider 384-bit GDDR5 memory bus with lossless texture compression, connected to a huge 12 GB of memory.

Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 will launch at the $200 Price Point – Rocks the Maxwell GM206 and 128-bit Bus?

Many of the publications are reporting the launch date of the Geforce GTX 960 following a report from Hermitage Akihabara and Sweclockers.com. However, this is something we told you guys about a week ago, the only new information we see in HA and Swe’s latest report was that they seem confident about the price point and specs. Something I would mention once again, has not been confirmed via Zauba.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 Launch Date Revealed

Originally expected to launch its mid-range GeForce GTX 960 graphics card on the sidelines of the 2015 International CES, in early January, NVIDIA is now expected to launch the card on the 22nd of the month. The card will be based on NVIDIA's new GM206 silicon, that's based on its "Maxwell" architecture. Among its known features are a 128-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface, 2 GB of memory, and significantly lower power draw compared to its predecessor. The card will draw power from a single 6-pin PCIe power connector. It's expected to be priced around the $200 mark.

NVIDIA Quadro M6000 with GM200 GPU specifications leaked

In just two days NVIDIA will host a press event in Las Vegas during Consumer Electronics Show 2015 (CES). The event where new visual computing technologies will supposedly be shown.

NVIDIA:

We’ll reveal the latest chapter at our event. You can follow all our news from CES at www.nvidia.com/ces2015. And you can watch our keynote address Sunday at 8 pm Pacific time on our blog. Bookmark it now, but that page doesn’t go live until show time.

Okay, so what is this event all about?

The correct answer is: we don’t know, but we have a clue. There’s a new leak about Quadro M6000 graphics processor. Few months ago I told that eventually NVIDIA will release a new Maxwell-based Quadro series. I even gave it a name, Quadro M, although I still find it confusing if we consider Mobile Maxwell parts (etc. M6000M).

Nvidia’s Monstrous 12GB Quadro M6000 Flagship GM200 GPU Confirmed Via Driver Update – Launching Soon

We have been waiting for big daddy Maxwell aka GM200 card to arrive for quite some time now and it looks that is going to happen pretty soon. Nvidia has the 22nd January event coming up and unless I am very much mistaken, it will unveil its Quadro Flagship as well equipped with the GM200GL core. The INF update in question can be found over at LaptopVideo2Go and here is an extract of the relevant portion:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X To Feature Tweakable Idle Fan-off Mode

Taking advantage of the low TDP of GeForce GTX 970 and GTX 980, several NVIDIA add-in card (AIC) partners such as ASUS, MSI, and Palit, innovated their VGA cooling solutions to feature idle fan-off. Such a feature lets the card turn its fans completely off, when the GPU is idling, or is below a temperature threshold, making the card completely silent when not gaming. NVIDIA plans to standardize this with its next-generation GeForce GTX TITAN X graphics card.

NVIDIA Maxwell GM200 pictured!

Ladies and gentleman, I can finally say this. The GM200 is here. Maybe not exactly at your doorstep, but pretty close.

The leaker who is probably working for the manufacturing company revealed the GM200 engineering board (180-1G600-1102-A04). That said the The Big Maxwell will use PG600 board.

The mysterious card has 24 Hynix H5GQ4H24MFR modules, clocked at 7 GHz. Together they form 12GB frame buffer. This is probably the same card we saw in GPU-Z database, the Quadro M6000. NVIDIA is known for reusing the same boards for various models, so this could very much be the TITAN X/2/Ultra board as well.

Everyone expects Maxwell GM200 to appear in TITAN series next month (since two TITANs were released in February), so it shouldn’t be that far away.
