*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

So finally got the money together for a rtx3080. I know, about 2 months to late. Which card should I pre order? Any advice welcome. Thank you

If you didn't preorder on launch day, consider a Radeon 6800XT instead (or a 6900XT if your budget stretches that far). Those still have to be launched.

If only a 3080 will do, don't pre-order. The pre-order queues at OCUK have been growing for over seven weeks now and nobody outside OCUK knows how long they are. If you pre-order, they'll make you wait for a queue position and you'll probably want to cancel and get a refund. Just wait for them to become available anywhere (though be prepared for a very long wait).

After waiting 2 months for my MSI Trio DPD delivered my parcel to the wrong address, I contacted them and they say they'll send the driver to collect it this afternoon and drop it over to me. Somehow I doubt that will happen, just wondering if the person that received the parcel can deny ever receiving it?

I also contacted Ocuk to let them know. I can't believe this is happening, just my luck.

Someone, somewhere must know wtf is going on with these damned cards. We were told availability would ramp up through October and normalise in November.

I can’t help but think Nvidia are up to some weird market manipulation, “the ultimate play” Is about right.

It’s so odd that people working in the supply channel supposedly know little more than customers. I really want AMD to punish these donkeys for their BS.

I just went on a call with a competitor. They said that they are due to get only 51 ASUS TUF OC at the end of this month.

Is that it? That's crazy. I'm guessing OCUK will be getting a few more that, based on what they say about how they work closely with manufacturers or what ever.

But, 51? Damn.

Morning All,

Thought I'd share another update from my email exchange with the lovely Becky on the ASUS UK sales e-mail. I'm 19 in queue for a 3080 Strix Non-OC and so as you can imagine, after managing to get in super early on launch day, somewhat annoyed I'm still waiting and that there is uncertainty as to whether the card is even shipping right now. Especially as I was going to go for an OC card and decided to save myself £20 at the last minute (don't ask my why, as even I dont know what I was thinking in Hindsight)

We've had conflicting info from ASUS UK who said all cards were being produced equally on their Facebook Page vs. ASUS US and whomever Gibbo has heard from are saying they aren't.

I'm hoping next week means early next week, but if they are holding on putting something out I can't imagine its going to be "thanks for waiting but cards are now on their way", I'm not too hopeful for good news.

If its not, I think I might start looking at another card, and likely not from OCUK as its pretty evident that other retailers are having more luck with securing stock, and I have no interest in getting the back of some of the queues they've got going here after what originally felt like winning the F5 race back in September.

You seen sight of any statement yet? As I havent

One theory doing the rounds is that global supply was restricted to encourage turnout in elections across the pond. Now that's out of the way, stock levels appear to be improving.

PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF WAITING FOR CARDS THAT NEVER COMES!!! WHERE ARE OUR INNO CARDS?

NO UPDATES AT ALL FROM OK UK.

WHY IS THAT PROBLEM IF WE WANT CARD FINALLY?
Hey man, don't shoot the messenger , yer we got beef but thems the rules on the forum. Stanners is just laying it down so easy on the bold caps

The biggest issue is that there are no press releases from the NV partners - The worst being ASUS, no cards, no news with growing queues. There is no recognition from them that people are waiting for their cards. A press release from them would be great, and I do not buy that NDA rubbish. I am sure that the partners can come up with availability and production status's vetted and agreed with NV. They are very lucky to have such a strong fan base, but that is being really stretched.

Damn that sucks.

Looks like you will have another long wait on your hands, I doubt they will get your card back. Maybe OC will put you at the front of the queue again. They will have to claim off DPD.

Their handheld scanners are gps tracked so maybe that will help get it back.

A lot of the couriers right now are being instructed to take photos of the doors when they deliver, even if it's handed to a resident. I believe DPD are doing this, at least in my area, so there should be some proof of where it ended up.
