*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I believe they only received 500 codes. They chose not to offer them on the website, as last time they ended up with more people buying than they had codes for which leads to disappointment. I expect they may well give them out to existing 3080 orders as they dispatch. But right now they are still giving out watchdog codes, as they've not yet shipped 1000 orders.

Cheers. Would prefer a Watchdog code tbh. Apparently, the leading competitor who deals with the official FE sales allows you to swap codes. May well see what they say.

OCUK system does seem like a complete shambles. It's not difficult to contextually display on the sales page that a free code is included, and then once the 500th order is completed that offer disappears. is their order handling system that antiquated?!

lol same, more and more though people are paying insane amounts for their components to look pretty. Companies charge all sorts to stick some LED's on things, to each their own and that but seems absurd to me lol.
yeah, I'm not judging. I don't disagree that many of the PCs I see look amazing. If that gives you a thrill, then go for it! Personally, I just look at the screen. haha. I'm wondering if any of the people that build these fantastic looking machines actually do look at them or show them off or if it actually is just a big waste of time and money.

Each to their own i reckon? I used to have a bunch of RGB fans, mobo, gpu lit up like blackpool illuminations. Not bothered these days, but i do like seeing the cool builds posted up, real works of art!

100% agree. I appreciate other builds that use RGB and the effort that goes in to them, but for me, I want my PC to work and be quiet, I don't want disco lights :P

Curious, but do you actually sit and look at the card once it's in your PC? Personally I don't care what it looks like. lol.
1. Enthusiasts care a lot. If they have spent a lot on their build and if they care for looks a few more quid adds value to them although others may frown. Some of us take great satisfaction in finishing a build and admiring it as we have put a lot of time and effort into the build
2. My PC is on my desk so something nice to look isn't a bad idea.
3. FE is cheaper than AIB models and is a gorgeous piece of engineering. Looks are subjective but having installed my 3070 yesterday I can say it is a beauty...

Yh trust if ur happy putting ur blacked out components in a blacked out box thats ur preference but if ur spending anything for anything aesthetics can deffo be a legitimate factor, and yh my 3070 FE looks so dank but am excited to see the slight LED and gunmetal combination whenever the **** this inno x3 turns up.

I agree the FE's look great, much better than previous versions which were a bit brick-like. I just couldn't see any for sale?

Exactly, for a lot of us this is our chosen hobby. A bit like if we were into tuning cars.

I've managed to source elsewhere after using a Twitter stock update page.

So that's ones less down in the MSI Ventus queue for anyone above 400.

Good luck all !

3080 Gaming Strix OC received, only ordered in on Friday and its in my hand today. Was 1020 in the OCUK que, will be cancelling that now, good luck to you all, but your all better off looking elsewhere as the cards are becoming much more readily available elsewhere
