Oh dear, we spent our money waiting for a stupidly hyped card that has global supply issues and because we only get piecemeal information that becomes available , a store is being criminal towards it's customers. /sarcasm

Just going to sit back in my deck chair like Lando Norris and wait like a good boy. :p
 
I dont see why they are moaning above. Are you people totally daft? The delays are from NVidia not OCUK. if the cards were in stock you would get them tommorow. I had the same issue with my CPU from **** systems. 3 month wait. It wasnt the fault of **** systems but intel.

I've always had a great experience with OCUK in the past which is why I chose to pre-order with them this time but this whole experience has soured my opinion of them somewhat. Some clearer communication would go a long way to improving things.

They seem so wrapped up in the fact that everyone is clambering over each other to get these cards that they are overlooking whether or not this lack of communication will cost them a lot of future sales.

Also I don't know why people think companies are so invested up in what stock their competitors are getting that it's influencing their purchase. No, you can either get stock or you can't and that is largely down to how competent your supplier is. Do people honestly think anyone would be turning down stock because it doesn't suit their calendar or that it will influence what stock another company can get?

Yeah funny how the company you shouldn't be naming is giving more information than OCUK and that's what people are actually specifically asking for. Any reason OCUK can't do this other than they don't want to?

Many heads are in order. It is how OcUK are dealing with it (re: they're not doing anything of value to communicate) as a result of what nVidia have done that is causing the complaints.

You realise people arent moaning about the situation but the customer service, or lack their of, from OC
 
15 in queue for 3080 MSI Gaming Trio. Lack of updates was so frustrating at first. I guess at leeast now I have an idea that I'll be tended to on the next shipment of X Trio? Still, meh

Try drinking less caffeine and sort your own head/attitude out first.

Although people ARE disappointed with having to wait weeks and in many cases (ultimately) months to receive their 3080, the MAIN thing people are unhappy about is the total lack of effort from OcUK in relation to communicating about the issue and provide sensible updates.

Other UK resellers (who can't be mentioned on here) HAVE been shipping 3080's, in what seem to be larger volumes than OcUK AND have been providing more timely updates on when they next expect stock for each model they offer.

This has been stated time and time again in really clear terms that most people of here are annoyed with the lack of service more than the lack of 3080s, so I really don't understand how you managed to come to the conclusions that people (customers) on here are being unreasonable!

If I believed in conspiracies, I'd say that person is reading a script to make people angry about someone misreading the complaints instead of actually complaining. Confuse and defuse strategy.

OcUK can't even be bothered to have a member of staff regularly posting in here, even if it's just to apologise and keep communication up. Do you really think they can be bothered arranging a conspiracy? :D
