*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Lots of the team are still pushing daily for more insight and communication :)

Your efforts are appreciated, sorry if we appear to be knocking the MODs (volunteer role also noted) that isn't the intention.

Its interesting that the "OcUK media team" (if there is such a thing) are pushing out notifications on various platforms and forums. Current customers are as important as future potential ones so affording the corrrect level of engagement is appropriate to ask for.

I would be flaberghasted if cards turned up un announced, unless relationships are that frayed that OcUK do not have the level of clarity competitors do. Asa result, why not share the same sort of narrative being provided elsewhere.

Oh and a final point (for now) any news, even if its bad like an expected order didnt arrive or volume of items is less than expected, is better than no news. Lack of clarity is forcing people to guess, provide opinion and at best cause inflamation to an already frustrating situation for customers. No NDA should be preventing the basic level of communications, its just poor judgement over what good looks like.

OCUK, whilst I won't be giving you a bad review, I note that the OCUK trustpilot is not looking so good of recent.

I urge you to put into place effective communication and reassurance to us customers paying north of £650. The system you currently have isn't working.

I would suggest a bi weekly update, not prioritising pre build rigs right now and asking your sales / customer service guys to show that they at least care a little bit for a start.

The stock shortages suck, but you cant really hold OC accountable for that surely...
Its a global thing, everyone is crying its a common problem, I placed another order with OC for other stuff on Friday got my shipping notification pretty quickly to be honest.

I would appreciate some clarity on orders and volumes but i mean, realistically what difference does it make.
You know your queue position, if 10 cards are coming in a week and you are 500+ in a queue does it make a difference reading that 10 cards are sent out everyone every week, your waiting period is still going to be a while, to say the least.

PS: Waiting on a Zotac 22nd in the queue, feels like I have been waiting forever and sucks but there's nothing I can do...

Also, I really hope the AMD fear starts driving production and maybe we lucky and bigger volumes start landing now that there has been time for shipping stocks to arrive.

I surmise, than in an "ok" number of days we will start to receive some cards. Thereafter this will increase to a "Large-ish" amount, however it's very possible after some time it will reduce to a "smallish" amount. In conclusion there is supposedly a card that exists in quantities unjustifiable by any man or woman.

P.S I really need to stop hoarding these forums, it's getting unhealthy for me. :D

@Space Monkey @EVH you are both very appreciated here.

Ocuk had a beautiful opportunity here with the flood of new customers signing up to the forum, if handled correctly, which it still could be, that custom could have been a long term addition, for the 3070 launch for the ryzens, and for any future purchases for the next x amount of years, it's the reason I came here from the little mermaid shop, and yesvotec, I've bought here ever since.
What I mean is, thank you

To the point we're risking our modship if anyone cares? :)

Wowzers, We do, sorry again if that isnt apparant in our correspondance on here. There is a fine line to be trodden between pushing hard enough to get a posative response, and one that gets a negative reaction. Not an easy tight rope sir.

BEST PRACTICE FROM A COMPETITOR:

"09/10/20 - The Expected MSI RTX 3090 shipment has arrived. We will be shipping these out to customers today. We have been informed by ASUS that we can expect a delivery of RTX 3090 next week, and have added this to the table. As there are no further updates on deliveries for this week the next FAQ page update will be on Monday 12th October. Thank you for your patience and support."

At some point OcUK will admit they got this wrong and amend their ways surely?

If i get banned for sharing this quote, its been emnotional.
I think that's great. I'd like some of this type of service, it's not too late to get it right OCUK!

Cmon OCUK just take a massive gulp and admit you got this wrong the way you treated us regarding info and updates and take a look a the previous post about how a competitor has nicely laid out their version of events and just do your own.

I've always had a great experience with OCUK in the past which is why I chose to pre-order with them this time but this whole experience has soured my opinion of them somewhat. Some clearer communication would go a long way to improving things.

Got banned for mentioning how a competitor is handling communication with their customers... Overclockers, we wouldn't feel the need to discuss this if you as a company would bother to put something together for us other than a half assed forum and queue system.

I doubt the customers over at said competitor discuss how OCUK are doing things because they are happy with the information they are being provided, even if it is not good news.
