***** is an OK amount???

Current understanding:

Very small is <5
Small is <10
OK is <20
Large < 50

I hope I'm wrong. I think I saw some larger numbers earlier, but I'll believe when I see queue numbers dropping.

My understanding that its
very small < 10
small < 20 and so on

I thought I was doing well not watching thread and getting on with actual projects. Read updates...
NO ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 TUF AGAIN!

So what is going on at production end? Have the rumours ended up being true and only OC are being produced by Asus due to higher profits? Trying to find out but so little information among all the assumptions.

From what @Gibbo said in this post:

Small <50
Average >50
Big >100
Dream >1000

Historically Very Small has apparently meant <10, and based on the Ventus shipment last week "ok" then was 50ish, so might be the same as "average". "Large" is presumably the same as big, but this is the first time we've been given anything near large so guess we'll see when it arrives.

I do wish he'd use the words he said he would, rather than synonyms.

What's annoying is that even after he described his already vague figures (small, average, large), he keeps using different phrases like very small, ok, big.

I guess small amount of MSI Trio tomorrow and usually it means something around 30, we'll see how many when the revised queue email goes out.

Small amount of Asus Tuf OC arriving tomorrow
Small amount of Asus Tuf OC arriving tomorrow
Small amount of Asus Tuf OC arriving tomorrow
Small amount of Asus Tuf OC arriving tomorrow

get to front of Tuf OC queue

Well I am currently queue position 43 , so hopefully 8 to 10 places higher tomorrow.

secondly I’m on that final year student loan money and it took literally every penny I had to order even this non oc model
Random observation - If this is seriously every penny you own, is a luxury gfx card really what you should be prioritising your money on as a student? Letalone during a global economic/jobs prospects crisis.
You may have already reflected on this so ignore me if so

Where was this said? I didn't see any mention from Gibbo today about these?

I assumed since Asus is Taiwanese they wouldn't be affected by Chinese holidays but it seems their factories for the TUF OC are in fact in China from what I saw labelled on an outer packaging somewhere, so we must wait...

Yeah ngl i thought this month there would be weekly posts about every card as each month there was supposed to be more cards, but this is just a joke now, getting to the end of my limits with this.

"The cards are subjected to a grueling 144-hour validation trial." -TUF COMPONENTS

I think this is why ASUS can't ship the TUF card faster than the other brand, the 6 days testing is "bottleneck" at the end before packaging. I rather they reduce the testing time and shipping the card faster.

Have you got a source for this? I don't doubt you, I just want to see this for myself as I'm interested
