*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Am I the only one who never received any email about my queue? T_T

MSI gaming trio ordered the 17th at 15:16....

I am in same boat as you mate, ordered Palit on 18th at 6 am. Had no email with queue position, called up and been told I won't get one (if I haven't already) as there must be an issue with my email add and the automated system... Strange they were able to send me confirmation of payment though. Told me I am welcome to cancel if I like and I am most likely still in the queue system somewhere. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I get they can't help that they don't have the stock, but the way they operate is a shambles.

Never mind, I've got an update that for some reason ended up in spam. Thank you Google for overly aggressive spam filters...

So now I'm 1674 for TUF non-OC. Either OCUK shipped out around ~~300 or mass amount of people started cancelling theirs orders.

Looks like and I think Nvidia will do this that they are going 7nm next year and will probably screw a lot of 3080 owner's out there. There node was a disaster from day one as regards clock speeds and power-draw. And I'm sure they don't want AMD to take the rasterization crown which could very well happen.
Just a heads up the 3080 could be outdated before it has ever been "fully" released, I didn't mind the 10gb Vram but if they go 7nm with less power draw higher clocks with more OC headroom the 3080 could look a bit silly

Few more FPS (1900MHz vs 2200MHz gives around 12fps more on average) won't change my mind honestly. 20GB ver is temping, but I'm not a game dev, designer or anyone that could actually use it.

Thermals up to 1970Mhz aren't even a problem. TUF which is the cheapest card has 62-65 celcius deegres under load.

Games won't use more VRAM than 12.5GB (Xbox One X 10GB ~~500Gbps + 2.5GB~~320Gbps) Unless you're planning to play in 8K, but 3080 can barely keep up with 4K at ultra settings. So it's really pointless to wait for 7NM Node from TSMC imo.

It would be good for new buyer though and to stretch production across Samsung and TSMC.

Hello!

Gibbo recently announced that a close to large shipment of Inno3D cards are being shipped this week and the ETA will be before the end of the month.

I am position 33 for Twin X2 OC, does this mean this shipment will fulfill my order?

As far as I am aware large is 50-100 so if that’s the case and it’s split up by three cards then it looks like I’m going to have to wait for the next shipment :(

And god knows when the next shipment will be ahhhhhhhh

No Q emails for the MSI trios since the 2nd. Kinda hope many people cancelled their orders and the "small" is actually dead on 50 so I have a slight chance getting my card this month. (158th)

By the looks of it TUF cards are getting shipped faster, we had like 12 shipped today apparently.
So I can expect my when? Maybe February or something?
Are you sure it's not people cancelling their orders? Judging by this forum and queue position updater it doesn't seem like a whole lot of ASUS TUF cards are getting shipped out, or if any at all. The situation for the OC models seems slightly better though.
