Why you cancelling mate?
it's nothing to do with interest. If you are a business and you have a say 500k overdraft, how much interest do you think you will be paying on that? well if you take 800k or more off your customers and stick it in your account you haven't got an overdraft have you, zero interest at the rate the criminals in the banks charge, so would you be in a hurry to return all that money??
The amount they have taken in will vastly exceed any overdraft they are likely to have had, the motivation to keep taking orders has far more to do with being in a position to commit to order volumes greatly exceeding the competition which will pay off in major style during November as the volumes of cards in channel surge considerably.
Same reason nobody should be calculating their deliver time based on the pitiful volumes shipped so far.
What we see by November will be very different from what we are seeing now.
So are people getting queue updates where cards haven't shipped?
I haven't figured out why some people don't get queue updates, but I got one last Thursday and then again today, both samer number.
I went from 600 ish to around 570 ish. So if your position didnt shift then i guess nearly 40 people cancelled in the last 2 weeks. Im going to wait 2 weeks until the delayed Eagle shipments drop and see how the positions change before i consider cancelling.well in almost a month... ive gone from 2nd ... to 2nd... Keep your heads up EAGLE OC 3080 ... I know its very tough!! everyday coming here with no news , and pretty flat banter at best....Just want the bloody cards to come for everyone before Cyberpunk and Watch Dogs Legions..... Just wanna join the RTX ON club..... HappyWaitingYalll
Oc is owned by case kings.de and they had a turnover last year of 75 mil US

It appears as though they've taken our suggestions onboard and have adopted a weekly update rather than sporadic "when your card type has dispatched update" If your queue number hasn't changed or it has and nobody has mentioned a shipment then chances are its a cancellation. In all fairness it doesn't matter why you move up in the queue, its just nice to see that you're getting a little closerI haven't figured out why some people don't get queue updates, but I got one last Thursday and then again today, both samer number.
I think thats wishfull thinking. I don't think amd will bother nvidia much. nvidia knows it has the better card this round again even if amd are catching. That said there's a lot of people that want their cards NOW lol so if amds offering is close enough then it could sway some people. More likely to get cancellations if people can snag a 3070 imo. My thoughts are that a lot of people went for the 3080 because it was released first and they didn't want to wait for the 3070 that they were originally considering.Expecting a boat load of cancellations if AMD's Big Navi is competitive with the 3080.
Yep. lot of money in the group so should put people that were concerned about losing money at ease. I found it quite amusing that caseking aren't taking pre-orders yet OCUK are lol. I also noticed on stock informer OC put the 3080 OOS and then back on pre-order to get its name above a competitor on updates lmao. Its the small things... and CaseKing is majority owned by Gilde Buy Out Partners, the chain goes on![]()
