*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Are you sure it's not people cancelling their orders? Judging by this forum and queue position updater it doesn't seem like a whole lot of ASUS TUF cards are getting shipped out, or if any at all. The situation for the OC models seems slightly better though.
Gibbo didn't posted any updates about TUF non-OC ver. so most of the shifts in the queue is caused by cancellations.
I've moved 269 down from 1943 to 1674.

Friend of mine was 720 ish now he is 637 quite a lot of cancellations for tuf non oc
Good on him tbh. I think everyone will be sorted by December. It's going to ramp up now the hols have finished. Non OC ? rumours in here they have stopped making them.. I think it's just mischief making personally. I can't believe this is the case, if it is though presumably he will just be bumped in with the OC crowd... Hope so. Not his fault.

on 11 Oct Asus bragged about TUF Gaming on theirs FB page and linked to non-OC version of the card so I don't belive that they decided to prematurely end life of one of the best card they've on rooster.
Once again I lean forward my own theory that they switched production onto the cards with higher profit margin and lesser queue for a while, at least until they'll have enough of chips binned for non-OC version.

Well, what have they mislead you on? What have they deceived you on? What have they not communicated via email, the forum and the link on the main homepage? What do you want them to do....Come and change your nappy?

You're saying an ETA of days when in reality it's months isn't at all misleading? They keep saying that they're the top dog and that they'll get stock but look how that's going. Zero TUFs in weeks.

I've had 2 emails about queue position, that's it. Nothing else from them at all, I had to harass them for information about what the hell happened on day 1 so yeah, great communication too. You also have the prices rising constantly on day 1. Sure, exchange rate or whatever. They couldn't fix their site or stop bots but they were damn sure going to squeeze every last penny out of their customers.

Let's talk about how they claim it's industry standard to take FULL payment on a PREORDER which is easily proven false. The vast majority of the time, you pay a deposit then the rest on dispatch. It's more than reasonable for people to assume that they'd have their order in a reasonable time with the ETA, taken payment and OCUK constantly claiming how great they are and how they'll get all this stock. They can't even fulfill the codes that were paired with GPUs. What a joke.

They deserve every negative review they get.

Aye that sounds more likely.

Gave up my 271 position in the x gaming trio queue. Now I'm 997 in the strix oc queue. I don't regret it the quality of the strix card is way higher than the msi. I happy to wait for a better product. And if the 20gb version comes out while I wait I will cancel and go in that queue. I don't care if I have to wait until march

I was late to pre-order an Asus Tuf (Non-OC) and started at 1120 in the queue. Eventually received an queue position update email yesterday to find out I'm 1009 now - not bad progress I thought!
Just to come on here and hear somebody say they went from 136 to 120... looks like it was all cancellations. Next to no stock in a month is just ridiculous, Overclockers sold me the idea they are long standing partners with Nvidia and will be sure to receive stock, when I'm watching stock be shipped much more often elsewhere...

I will be joining the cancellation group and pre-ordering an RTX 3070 from a different site on release day. Big sad.

Its rare he is wrong tbf (even if he is a little bias towards team red most of the time)

He pretty accurately predicted the whole situation with the 3080/90 launch + stock availability before the cards were even launched at the start of September.

Yeah, could have been luck, but he does appear to be on the money more often than not.
