*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Idiot - there have also been deliveries and dispatches of cards at least three times thet did not appear in that supposed Official update thread.
Not an idiot actually...As per the queue e-mail it stated that cancellations and shipping updates would be updated on a card by queue basis via e-mail (which they have). If there are no updates, there has been no movement, rather simple really.

The only thing more annoying than lack of updates is lazy people asking the same question over and over. Have a read through the thread like the rest of us...

It is not pre-order when product is launched. They can call it the moon, I don't care. This is backorder and they provided false ETA as they never had a clue when the card is coming. They lured people into buying and slow server excuse doesn't cut it in 2020. All backorders need to be delivered within 30 days.
You are WRONG juzef ofc zero brain. Well KAren cancel preorder afrter You called MANAGER and try luck getting card anywhere else.

Hunting around for a card I decided to call a local provider, who is significant enough to be mentioned on the Nvidia site. They point blank told me that 3080 availability is very limited and as such is 100% allocated to prebuilt. Nothing available for card only folks until 2021. They said 3090s will be available from time to time.

Then you're just as bad as the scalpers, there ain't no smoke without fire. Go get ripped off by all means. I'd rather wait than line some scumbags pockets

You wot mate? I'm buying a 3090 at retail price from an alternate online shop. Is it more than a 3080? Yes. Is it more than the stock price for a 3090? No.

I have no idea what this has to do with scalping.

So basically the stock update is correct

That makes it worse and scummy if that is happening, putting people's paid for cards into pre builds.

Slightly scary how quickly my 2080 sold. Tried to get it out as soon as I knew my order was good to go as I didn't want to be caught by a flood of other people selling their old cards but I may have sold it for too little. Ahhh well! I needed the cash because of the bump up to a 3090.

Last week Gibbo said Inno were shipping end of this week / early next week, Monday is over now in China and there has been no word about anything, whether they shipped or whether they are delayed etc etc.

I have read every page in this thread and the other before it. If you can not bother to read your post I Quoted it is not my fault.

You stated that all information appears in the update thread (which it blatantly does not), you did not mention the Queue update emails at all in the post.

Hope you enjoy your 3090. I know what you mean about spending lots of your time hunting down a 3080 not being worth it! Time is money after all!

I can't justify the price of a 3090 though even if I technically do have the cash to buy one. I have been checking the forum much less frequently for the last week or so, and I am not looking elsewhere. I am in it for the long haul, so just getting on with my life, and the card will come when it comes.

That's not to say I am not excited to get it, but spending half my day on the Internet dreaming about it won't get it to me faster. Especially not for the RRP price

He was another obvious dweeb who cannot follow a thread, I knew he had made a mistake as I had read the few previous posts, so knew what you were doing.
