@Gibbo Can you comment to put everyone's mind at rest on the speculation about cards coming in and going straight into prebuilds. People are using this to answer why OC has less stock. Even a "this isnt true" would put loads of peoples mind at rest.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
I know, just trying to lighten the mood.
I still blame nVidia for everything.
I'm still not sure how you can not work out that cards DONT EXISTI'm still not sure how you can not work out that only Overclockers have taken our money, it is no one elses responsibility to provide us with a card.
First 1/3 is 3090 and 3080 Twin X2.
X3 we expect 50 units as long as no issues and the X4 we expect 15 units.
We would love to do this, but for this launch the manufacturers simply cannot give us this information generally, sometimes they do, like Inno3D which I posted amount and so far 1/3 of that shipment has been collected by our forwarders in Hong Kong and it is on its way to us, the other 2/3 is still being prepared by Inno3D.
I could post every day but I'd be posting to say no update today, if you guys truly want me to be posting updated saying no update then fine but that will just clutter up the thread. I'd rather only post meaningful information about deliveries.
Right now the manufacturers cannot give me anything and they also do not have fixed days when they do update me their updates are random and can come at any time so its not possible on a Monday to post the weekly forecast because the manufacturers are not organised to do that or simply do not know.
It is extremely frustrating for us all.
Anyone heard anymore about the Gigabyte Vision OC? Seems to have gone quiet on that SKU....
@Gibbo Any news about the Eagle, last update we got but the shipment was delayed.Received and shipped 14 units so far.
Did anyone notice that there was no mention of the using incoming stock for the pre-builds? I don't know about you guys but having paid my hard earned cash for my board I feel that if one of the type I ordered comes in and a single customer is still waiting then the card is his, as he or she has already paid for it, to hold the money and fit the card to a pre-build for a higher mark up and ignore the fact customers who have paid are waiting smacks of illegal behaviour, what say you?
I so hope they get slightly higher then 50 x3, being 53 and all...
Well They read it Gibbo just replied here like about 20 posts ago.I dont know if Gibbo or anyone at OCuk reads the fourm but i cant understand how misguided that message is thats been put out by Gibbo. Do they not understand at all what the complaints are about? We all understand fully that this has been a rushed launch with not enough stock, every customer understands that. The problem is the lack of communication and how unprofessional it has been. You wouldnt see other companies saying "a close to ok amount" etc, they have graphics and/or email systems. But to come out with a "dont blame us" email with more words in it than has been communicated to us in a month is just insulting. What do you guys think? That update has just annoyed me because it shows they dont know what the real frustration is.
Received and shipped 14 units so far.
@Gibbo , what happenned to the small amount of MSI 3080 Gaming Trio due on the 15/10?
So stop taking pre-orders then! Because you are coming across as nothing more than greedy. We can see through the PR nonsense
