*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

@Gibbo Can you comment to put everyone's mind at rest on the speculation about cards coming in and going straight into prebuilds. People are using this to answer why OC has less stock. Even a "this isnt true" would put loads of peoples mind at rest.

I'm still not sure how you can not work out that only Overclockers have taken our money, it is no one elses responsibility to provide us with a card.
I'm still not sure how you can not work out that cards DONT EXIST

We would love to do this, but for this launch the manufacturers simply cannot give us this information generally, sometimes they do, like Inno3D which I posted amount and so far 1/3 of that shipment has been collected by our forwarders in Hong Kong and it is on its way to us, the other 2/3 is still being prepared by Inno3D.

I could post every day but I'd be posting to say no update today, if you guys truly want me to be posting updated saying no update then fine but that will just clutter up the thread. I'd rather only post meaningful information about deliveries.

Right now the manufacturers cannot give me anything and they also do not have fixed days when they do update me their updates are random and can come at any time so its not possible on a Monday to post the weekly forecast because the manufacturers are not organised to do that or simply do not know.

It is extremely frustrating for us all.

So stop taking pre-orders then! Because you are coming across as nothing more than greedy. We can see through the PR nonsense

Also strikes me as strange people assume OCUK are just sitting in a tropical island somewhere sipping margaritas off the 30 series pre-orders money when that money literally isn't being touched. They can't touch it because they might need to give it back if the consumer cancels which they can do at anytime.

Did anyone notice that there was no mention of the using incoming stock for the pre-builds? I don't know about you guys but having paid my hard earned cash for my board I feel that if one of the type I ordered comes in and a single customer is still waiting then the card is his, as he or she has already paid for it, to hold the money and fit the card to a pre-build for a higher mark up and ignore the fact customers who have paid are waiting smacks of illegal behaviour, what say you?

there’s no way OC’s would be ignorant or stupid enough to prioritise prebuilds with 3080’s over pre-purchased 3080’s. All 3080’s regardless of target have to be in a queue as essentially the ones being delivered are already purchased. If I ordered a prebuilt today with an Asus 3080 or similar, I would expect to go to the back of the queue for the card as anything arriving has already been sold. If anyone has any information to the contrary, then post the evidence here as this would certainly be something I would want an official answer from OC on

I so hope they get slightly higher then 50 x3, being 53 and all...

Inno3D communicated those numbers to me, I will do what I can but I know they already diverted more stock to OcUK to help fulfill demand, I am sure there will be another good shipment in a few weeks which of course you will absolutely get one.

Thank you @Gibbo a long over due appearance and very appreciated.
So I'm right in assuming gigabyte gaming oc cards will not be for a good few weeks as well?

Again thank you for finally addressing the issues

I dont know if Gibbo or anyone at OCuk reads the fourm but i cant understand how misguided that message is thats been put out by Gibbo. Do they not understand at all what the complaints are about? We all understand fully that this has been a rushed launch with not enough stock, every customer understands that. The problem is the lack of communication and how unprofessional it has been. You wouldnt see other companies saying "a close to ok amount" etc, they have graphics and/or email systems. But to come out with a "dont blame us" email with more words in it than has been communicated to us in a month is just insulting. What do you guys think? That update has just annoyed me because it shows they dont know what the real frustration is.
Well They read it Gibbo just replied here like about 20 posts ago.
They understand and like I would do Just ignore it people whine about stuff all the time. No point of doing anything YOU NEVER apologize to angry mob they burn out eventually hehehe

Thanks for giving us some more/better clarification on things anyway
I'll continue to wait patiently for more 3080 Strix OC updates

I do get where you are coming from as I thought the same before, but at the end of the day it’s not a big deal. People should still have the choice to preorder, as you still have the right to get a refund.
