*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Listen to this for trading boys sold my msi gaming trio 2080ti for 440 + an evga 1080ti sc, bought another palit 2080ti for 390, sold 1080ti for 230 yesterday so basically got the same card just a bit lower clocked and made myself 280 quid, once my 3080 comes I will sell this 2080ti for atleast 450-500 depending on 3070 performance then ill have my 3080 free plus a bit of profit lol
what if big navi and 3070 are available when you try to sell that 2080ti? in that case you can’t get £500 for it anymore.maybe £300-£350 if lucky.

Got my new position today from a competitor for the Zotac Trinity gone from 65 to 61 in two weeks with delivery’s both weeks. Ordered at 14.20 on launch day and I can see December being my finishing line.

Last position I got was 2 weeks ago saying I was 16th for a Zotac. Last 2 emails have just said expect delivery on the 30th October. I was a 2.13pm baby.

I honestly don't have the heart to read hundreds of pages of rage to find the answer to my question, so apologies to those I irritate but pressing ahead and asking it anyway...

Any news on the Eagle OC? I've not seen any mention of this in Gobbo's updates since September.
"Gobbo" :D:D:D

And I dont even think 3070 will be as good as the 2080ti tbh depends what your using it for and as for big navi let's just wait and see cos they're crap

Has there been any updates anywhere (not just here) regarding STRIX OC 3080's? It's so frustrating there's seemingly so little of them
Asus are hardly moving here, and the TUF non OC moving least of all.

Personally lost the hype to upgrade, Nvidia is so rubbish is beyond even human understanding.... was happy to upgrade from my 1080t however seen the disastrous and embarrassing launch, no cards a month after lunch I can wait for something else or again skip even this generation unless new consoles will bring something that a 1080ti cannot handle.

They have a good marketing but you can tell (well if you did not know notice already) they understand nothing about buyers, unless one is truly desperate and in life the only aim is to buy "a new GPU" they remove the "urgency" not providing enough stock, IMHO

They are embarrassing, last decent thing they did was the 10xx after that they have become a joke... I have a gsync monitor however if AMD can provide stock and performance I will just get an AMD card and buy a new monitor if I have to, not going to waste more time on Nvidia, 20xx was an offence, 30xx is an offence too, besides £700 quid for a xx80 which was the xx80ti price anyway.

1 month with no stock, I am not queuing for more serious thing let alone for a graphic card to play games :D
It's interesting. Once it sucks the fun out, you start to move on mentally without having bought it...

For me there are two big takeaways from that piece.
1) The number of cards supplied and shipped out bears a striking resemblance to the numbers OCUK have had, and yet this is a different country, maybe there is some kind of fair shares policy being used here?
2) We are now over a month after the launch and not even 10% has been supplied, it is indeed going to take months to clear the backlog, as for all intents and purposes they are 93% hardly making any inroads into the initial demand let alone the pent up demand as you identified.

The other point is that it isn't just happening in the UK, it's at some major E tailers on the continent too, but they are clearly so frustrated they've gone to the specialist press with some very specific figures.
Good analysis, thanks.

There are some cards that hardly seem to exist in Europe.

TUF is the most popular card. OC UK has our millions of pounds ready to spend with asus but asus factories are like? Nah we dont need money for GPUs , there is no money in it, nah we will not ship any to UK, nah bro. Just chill.

I love comments like these, no it won’t, some deal will happen, or some good product will be released and OCUK will be one of the the only retailer doing preorders in the UK and you will crawl right back.

You aren’t mad about the customer service, your annoyed that you didn’t understand the concept of a PRE order. You have ordered the product prior to the actual receipt of any actual stock. Your order will be fulfilled once they get more stock, so be patient and stop whining.

If you read @Gibbo update then you would know that OCUK is at the mercy of the card manufacturers and the component distributors.

If you want to be mad at anyone be mad at Nvidia, and vow never to buy another Nvidia card again, because ultimately Nvidia over hyped the product and vastly under estimated the high demand for such a powerful card at such a reasonable price.

However to be honest it is such a difficult market to predict as PC enthusiast are really fickle and ready to turn on a product at a moments notice. I have seen so many post of people saying that they will cancel and just get the big navi in stead so if you are so annoyed then please do that so that the rest of us patiently waiting can get our card sooner :D

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

lol you are very mistaken
