*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

And that's just the preorders mostly around the 17th. It doesn't include people who would gladly buy one now if they were available. The real supply might be 1%.
For me there are two big takeaways from that piece.
1) The number of cards supplied and shipped out bears a striking resemblance to the numbers OCUK have had, and yet this is a different country, maybe there is some kind of fair shares policy being used here?
2) We are now over a month after the launch and not even 10% has been supplied, it is indeed going to take months to clear the backlog, as for all intents and purposes they are 93% hardly making any inroads into the initial demand let alone the pent up demand as you identified.

The other point is that it isn't just happening in the UK, it's at some major E tailers on the continent too, but they are clearly so frustrated they've gone to the specialist press with some very specific figures.

Looking at reddit, the US isn't doing any better. Just because we see a bunch of build pics from the few hundred who actually got one on /r/nvidia, the absolute vast majority is still waiting.

I bet in the end there will be little difference between queue position 100 or 1000, once nvidia production lines are actually going, thousands per country per week shouldn't be an issue.

Does any one know which product line has the shortest wait time? I'm a non OC tuf person so my line is infinitely long at the moment with there being zero shipments.

Listen to this for trading boys sold my msi gaming trio 2080ti for 440 + an evga 1080ti sc, bought another palit 2080ti for 390, sold 1080ti for 230 yesterday so basically got the same card just a bit lower clocked and made myself 280 quid, once my 3080 comes I will sell this 2080ti for atleast 450-500 depending on 3070 performance then ill have my 3080 free plus a bit of profit lol

Got my new position today from a competitor for the Zotac Trinity gone from 65 to 61 in two weeks with delivery’s both weeks. Ordered at 14.20 on launch day and I can see December being my finishing line.

Are we all likely to get Watch Dogs Legion codes does anyone know? Its on my invoice so I'd expect it, but the way things are going I'm wondering if that won't happen either - especialy for those of us that couldn't order until the afternoon on release.

Bummer, To be honest mate I am on the verge of buying a 2080 and saying *****cks to it
I have the same plan, I am waiting until 2nd of November, if no news I will look for a 2080ti for 1 week, if still no news I will get a refund and buy a 2080ti before cyberpunk

Or get a navi

I expect the biggest impact to the queue sizes will be with the Radeon releases. And a bit with the 3070 release, as those like me who are not tied to any particular card consider jumping ship.

ampNOTthere! :p

As I said 3080 TI 20gb on TSMC 7nm incoming Paper plane lunch September 2021 in stores like 2022 febuary hahahaha.
My speculations would be boot clocks 2300 and some improvements 3080ti raping 3090 for 900 quid.

Long time lurker (17th Sept), finally joined so I can express my views on this ~*&% show. But last two days updates from Gibbo have calmed me down somewhat.
MSI Trio 190ish in the que ordered at 3:22pm launch day after F5 ing since 2pm. (stupidly thought i would get it from nvidia website, then resorted to OC as I had bought my old PC back in 2013 from them.)
Been without a graphics card since start of september when my R9 280x failed and sold on ebay for £15, wish I had kept it and taken it apart to try and fix it.

No gaming since then....... Fortunately I have car modifying as a hobby or I would be really struggling.

Hoping start of Nov to be in the low 10's for que position.

Building a new PC and have to wait for Ryzen 5900x anyway so both might come at same time which would be nice.

Anyway it's a hello from me.
