*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Look at my previous posts, i've been posting the info all my friend. There's shipments every week to two weeks and they are slowly increasing in number.
Thanks for coming to talk to us, but perhaps you can clarify what exactly is the problem with RTX3080 production what is the bottleneck ?

GDDRX is only made by micron would be my guess. Reason why they've scrapped the larger memory models.

Could also just be the usual lower wafer yields on a new product that is super hot (sales wise). Nothing special or unpredictable, all within nvidia's capability to manage. Its certainly gotten people to talk about it for a lot longer than they would otherwise. I wouldn't suggest it's a good sales tactic if there was competition in the high end, but there really isn't.

Great news for some. I'm still waiting for a dif brand (launch day pleb position 43 reporting!) to appear. Knowing my luck, the Kraken will take my shipment down.

Hope a lot of cards are coming for us all, slowly on several ships out there. At least you're out here helping people as much as you can, respect.

Anyone want to start a poll to see who will switch their 3080 pre-order to a big navi when the reviews say its close to as good (or possibly bad) as a 3080.
I for one have no loyalty to brand but have doubts about getting my 3080 before xmas and if I can order and get something that's cheaper and near enough same performance I will, however I won't be cancelling my pre order like some people *say they will* due to the nvidia *@&% show of a launch.

`If my account, my orders shows no order `then you have not ordered ,` has money been `taken` form your bank` account? I¬f you want a card sooner then pick a less popular card.`

I got an email saying the money had been accepted : "Amazon Payment Authorised" < from them. Yes money has gone out.
Dont mind about sooner - I understand everyone is in the same situation.

Seconded, Me and Illusionist both nagged @GIGA-Man several times yesterday for information on delivery, all we got was some are coming, if the nameless ones can clearly state Expected delivery 21st to 23rd why the hell can't we have information?
There will be more late next week and a larger shipment the week after.

DoH...

If i "login with amazon" .. as I paid with amazon - its there in my orders.
If I login with my normal account, its not there.

Weird to me, I thought I was paying with amazon through my normal account.

Thanks everyone

The same as every other manufacturer I'm afraid. Read the tech news and you'll get regular updates on the general situation.

dont think ill ever order an asus card again, having your tuf card be probably the most popular card on the market( not really on the market because it doesnt exist on the market) and just not making them

I am still not clear about this Inno3D shipment!

Some people have said it is shipments split up into three , each being shortly after each other whilst some people are saying it’s just one big shipment? So which is it? I’m confused.

If the first shipment has 20pcs of twin x2 oc 3080 am I correct in saying the next one will have atleast 13 more so mine will be fulfilled

I just wanna know when I will get my card

I'm not sure why there is still any confusion, Gibbo was very clear, search this thread for his comments yesterday.

The totals for 3080 across the whole shipment are as follows:

X2 20
X3 50
X4 15

The X2's are expected first, with the X3 & 4 hopefully following a week or two behind.

So you will not be getting your card from this shipment.

I'm angry but I don't know who to be angry at anymore.

Nvidia for launching too early and trying to gazump AMD.

ASUS for not actually making and shipping their MSRP cards.

OcUK for taking our money, getting stuck in this nightmare and then struggling to work out how to manage it (hint, should probably stop taking pre-orders).

Ordered 17th of Sept, an hour and a half after launch. ASUS TUF non-OC. Hoping AMD launch a decent product so I can say goodbye to NVIDIA and ASUS for at least 4 years, maybe a decade.

I think you will all have a shock at how good the new AMD cards will be, if you check the supposed leaks about VRAM and clock speeds.

Soon cometh the massive wave of 3080 cancelations...
