...and we might get more information as a result.

You are assuming that they have more information to give that they are wilfully withholding...

Anything beyond what is confirmed as actually shipped to OCUK doesn't meet the standard of 'information' for me.

If you want best guesses and hints at what may be shipping at some point but not actually confirmed then it may be interesting, but it isn't something you can rely on sadly.

I do suspect there is going to be better news in a week or two and much better news once we get to the middle of November and beyond, but so far this has mostly gone as predicted with very little stock moving up to now so we shouldn't be surprised.

Gibbo said a while ago, things still happen but they don't communicate as much (I imagine both the distributor office staff and gibbo are off over the weekends). We usually get a bit more info on a monday than the rest of the week which kinda confirms that too.

HAAAAH! no bloody change there then

I cancelled my order last week and managed to get a card from another website due for delivery next week.

Just wanted to leave this here and say I will never be using Overclockers again (despite being a long term customer) not because of the wait or because I couldn't get the card quicker but because of the utterly appalling customer service (especially the purchasing manager whom, I feel, looks down his nose at customers and views them as an annoyance rather than people who allow him to have the job he does.)

You really have tarnished your name with this launch and the fact that you continue to take pre-orders really does speak volumes about your intentions.

My advice to people here is, take your money back into your bank where it belongs and give it to a company who is willing to be more transparent with information and who treats their customers with decency and respect rather than annoyances.

Also, I want to add, it's clearly obvious they are lying about their pull with companies when talking about getting stock when other sites are managing to pull more stock in, just another example of false advertising.

I'd delete that post, it's a competitor regardless of the nature of your post which is honestly just making a point.

Just a headsup as you may not have known the ruling.

Trust me I know the ruling, and at this point couldn't really care less. Appreciate the heads up either way though.

Ah! ok the usual forum pedantic ****

Ah I see the usual "i've had my stupid point proven wrong" so now I must throw expletives as my last form of defence.

As the more mature person in this. This is my last post on this, and will be walking away and posting no further replies to you on this, thank you.

Thanks for the advice, guess I'll wait to see what November brings in terms of alternatives and stock changes for the 3080's.

Failing that I can always wait to see what what the rumoured 20GB 3080 variant looks like price wise in December (though I'd be surprised if they announced it whilst they are struggling to even fulfill orders for the 10GB version).
I was told this morning that by (OCUK) that the queue position for the Zotac Trinity OC was only in the 20's soooo.
