NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti to be "available" on June 3rd, RTX 3070Ti on June 10th

Also, before anyone says 'but you've got systems available with Ti in'...correct. I was given a grand total of about 30 units across four models by my closest SI partners. This is a LOT less than the retail allocation received so far.

Not true, sorry for any confusion. Since we know that we can't trust our website to manage the traffic currently we decided to follow the same process that we've followed for the last few graphics card launches. List the cards, don't sell.
We aren't selling the cards currently, at all, we are working on a way to best serve our loyal customer base and we'll hopefully be in a position to do something next week.

So, how would your 'local customer base' find out what you come up with by next week? Check the forums? Check the shop? Check my emails?
I'm currently at place #100 in a queue for a 3080, down from #584, so I guess I qualify :D

Sorry, but this could have been communicated WAY BETTER, up front, not after the fact!
Lots of 'loyal customers' are probably not even aware of these forums...

3080 Ti FE on ebay ... went from £4600 to £5655 in one refresh lol.
bots will be wrecking them, if you're smart you'll do it over facebook or some other selling platform and do collection and BT/Cash only. Dont know why people still use Ebay, its daft.

Where do I even join a queue?

.

Who are we defining as loyal customers. I mean it's clear we are all keen to purchase and most of us actually do want the cards to game with.

There are no right answers and it is difficult I guess...but vouchers for forum members with 1000 posts or more isn't really a fair approach TBH. Some of us have been here for a few years but haven't said much. Doesn't mean we are not loyal.

Maybe charging more initially to inflate pricing but providing a credit / refund if you can prove that you still have the hardware in your possession after 30 days.

Using a specific application that time stamps a photo of the GPU in your machine / computer etc.

Who knows...but personally I'd happily pay a surcharge to secure hardware for intended use followed by a refund with a portion of said refund going back to OC for the trouble.

Just throwing ideas out.

I mean, I have to agree, just because i've not particularly used the Overclockers forums, I've been a loyal Customer, who lives Locally, who has been to the shop and purchased lots of computing equipment over the years even all way back when OC UK was in that little warehouse in Fenton, so i'm talking 20 years approx here.

I think you just need to try to reward 'genuine people' not loyal people. So for the most part the forum users here aren't in it to scalp.
