Been trying to get a 3060ti for the kids for a few months now but was said out of stock by the time I clicked the alert so hit the 3080 link and the add button was there, not going to turn it down at that price considering I was thinking about getting the 3080ti and letting the kids have my 3080 before I knew the it's was going to be over 1k.

Probably a bit overkill for minecraft RTX and fortnite but hey ho.

Have you bought any other fe card this year or someone with the same adress have? They have very sensitive system that will cancel automatically any order made by same account or to same address or payment method etc. that already bought any FE card this year.
 
Managed to get a 3080 FE in the basket but then got an order declined message. Took about 2 to 3 mins to get from basket to entering card details and then opening my bank app to authorise. Trying to find out from live chat what it was that caused the decline.

Check acccount overview see if you have You have 1 successful pending order.

I've rang my bank several times to say let these pass so i can buy stuff online but they say its just part of the safety measure which i totally understand but its so annoying when it declines on something thats as hard as getting a gpu lol.

I had 4 declines from VISA even though they were verified live via text PIN or mobile app. Switched to Mastercard, first one declined, verified by text message, then went through the second time.
 
I think I might just stick with the 1080ti that I bought from OC years back. Part of me wonders if getting twice the performance for almost twice the money is really progress anyway. Another part of me wonders if the miners will flood the market with used cards once Ethereum goes Proof of Stake (hopefully this year) and bring the price and availability of new cards back to reasonable levels.
