*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

127 to 123

Cracking performance!!! Way to go!!!

Cant wait to make my next order!!! ........................... hmmmmmmmmm im 46 now, definately beginning to worry if ill see this card before I peg it

I also think Asus have done something with the 3090 oc, mainly because this lack of cards has coincided with the pre order being removed from the site, something has happened and as usual no one is telling us poo poo. The fixing of the fan makes sense, and is just typical it happens to the card I want. If it wouldnt of happened the numbers wouldve rose like the other models

I know how you feel dude.

But at least you will get the card you want in the end.

Yeah, i would be really pleased if I got it before Christmas but it's looking highly unlikely given my queue position of 267 and the no sign of a mass delivery anytime soon :(

I think I'm gonna go with the Phanteks 3090 Strix block and backplate. Looks a lot cooler, check it out on the OCUK store and compare with the EK Strix 3090.. looks a lot nicer than the EK one.

And I've never owned anything Phanteks before but EK's 3000 blocks look really basic by comparison, not a lot of work went into them is my perception. Half as many DRGB LED's, only along the far edge where as the Phanteks has double the LED's all along the bottom so it is more evenly lit, and it has these aluminium panels which look nice vs the EK plastic ends where you can see the screws used to bolt it onto the plexi piece through the front lol

I hounded ASUS\asus rog uk on twitter twice a day and giving links to here.
It may work again?

With all this gaming I'm doing on my 3090.
I will be ready to get the 4090 soon :D

was gonna buy a 3090 for 1474 from scam, as soon as i watch a few bench mark vids i thought like wtf, 3 to 5fps for an extra 800 quids, i can buy 2 3080s for that

so i backed off, still thinking about it....

I know 3090 renders 4k 8k vids in no time and the 3080 was fall flat **** in the same job, but i dont really render vids

Still extremely happy with my RTX 3090 FE on that huge 3 hour drop last week.

With a small OC im able to maintain 2085mhz and 100000 on memory all at 55 to 60 degrees.

Even beat my mates 3090 Strix OC on Assassin's Creed benchmark haha.

Too true! So does @Gibbo absolute disgusting customer service and comms all round.

Lies from the start on both sides, no information and hardly any stock.

DISGUSTING
I don’t doubt it’s very frustrating but with the known shortages it’s a case of either paying up and clock watching... or waiting until they are readily available and then ordering *shrug*

Think many are eager as they know the 3080ti is coming in January, and will likely be faster and cheaper than the 3090, just with less memory.

Personally I got my 3080 on the 9th of November from a physical store (was just on the shelves!), I previously had a Strix 3090 OC on order which I cancelled, after seeing the 3080ti news. Definitely the right decision for me, as I get to enjoy the jump from 60 to 120hz at 4k on my CX48, the 3080 does well at driving games between 60-100FPS at 4K, though can't wait to see what the 3080ti can do!

The 3080Ti is not coming in January if at all and the rumours it's based are not very convincing and makes no sense for Nvidia commercially, what MAY come is a 3080 20gb SKU.

I’m lucky in a way that received mine (TUF OC mind you) last week, but I’d be on the edge of cancelling and actually waiting out for the 6900XT reviews and decide.
