*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Omg guys the discussion about pci-e cables for graphics cards this stuff is real basic stuff if you don’t know how, what the hell are you doing buying a 3090 you have to wonder sorry just saying

Yeh it is basic yet nvidia complicated the whole situation.

All day on youtube 12 pin connections have been flouted as the connection for the 3x cards. There is not a 12 pin connection for all cards at all.

Some cards can just have the standard 2x8 pin on the. They dont even send you a installation manual on the card. Just how to connect it to your monitor which is basic.

You would have thought with the various ways to connect these cards you could have expected some Clarity on installation.

Its shortsighted to say why are you buying the 3090 card if you don't know this.

Its same connection on a 2070 card too.

Check youtube vids too. Confusion.

Basically learnt there is 12 pin connection for some 3090 cards. And others have 2x8 pin connections

Just bought the KFA2 3090 for £1700 from ocuk. It's cheaper elsewhere but I had £700 of ocuk vouchers to use up. I'm actually hyperventilating. I can't see supply improving til Feb/March next year tbh.
Only a 2 year warranty as well :o

Just a couple of palit 3080s coming in this week? Its like they are not even trying to get stock at this point. Probably made a nice profit off the interest alone given how much they have taken to 'guarantee' a card. I'm so close to cancelling my order, just wish I wasn't 2nd in the queue.

More like April / May. who cares if its £1700, its your money. who cares that its a KFA2 3090, it will be yours and it'll do all the things a 3090 will do :). i dont regret buying my PNY over a month ago. it wasnt the card i had in mind but now im well chuffed with it.

EDIT. just checked it out KFA are galax. good card !

Have you noticed the Asus dude has not replied to any messages on here, and neither has Gibbo for that matter. Im remaining in the queue but im now treating Asus with the same contempt as im treating ocuk, that is im never buying another thing from them. I will not be treated so poorly. Its ok if supply is low but to jus ignore your customers is atrocious

Used to buy Asus everything, but not any more, poor supply, poor service, and poor RMA. they used to be the go to brand, but like all good things it never lasts. the one that boasts the best bord is the palit gamerock 3090oc has more phases than any. Even EVGA has gone down hill with reports of poor quality component's used.
another good brand gone down hill.

It seems that the moderator is going a good job monitoring for competitors talk, but when it comes to replying to customers' questions... well, silence.

On holiday in Holland to see family and managed to get a 3080 in 3 days of being here! One Dutch forum keeps track of all deliveries and orders with community made spreadsheets that it’s users update for every order and delivery for every etailer, showing exactly where and what to order. Not seen anything like this in the UK as everyone and most stores are just out for their own gain, such a shame.

Managed to snag a KFA2 GEFORCE RTX 3090 SG @ the cut down price of 1499.00 delivered free (Cyber Monday), and they still have 32 in stock, of course, you can get one here, but with a scalping +£200 on top of that + delivery ;)

Really amusing chaps. You bought a card you got one. It will take time to ship.
Last year GDDR memory alone was deemed as a major ooooft to the tech market as Sony and Microsoft bought all of it.
Nvidia underestimated and AMD - the GPU demand at this time of a corona year.
Tech is loving it. Pre orders outstanding are insane and demand is all shut up and take my money!!

You want what is his name gibbo to update each day.
Hiya called asus - they said stop calling we are on overtime here - **** you - Germany are on the other line wanting mooooar!!
Called Gigabyte - they said faaaack off
Called EVGA - they said - when its ready!!!! }

DO you not think they are all on at Nvidia asking - yall got any more of them GPUs ??

But you would feel better with OC saying sorry none yet sorry none yet sorry dont know sorrry none yet sorry still trying sorry none yet sorry still waiting sorry yea we legit have paid for them sorry none yet

Experts in customer service also no doubt experts in weapons ballistics on COD, CS etc

I have loved the utter comedy gold. We are all waiting. First world facts. You might not get it for Santa time. You almost certainly will not get it for Cyberpunk. Darn!

You should be blaming Trump, Sony and Xbox and covid for wrecking the entire chip market. This was news January 2020 ffs. Even before that on GDDR shortage predictions.

GGs cards are coming

Just a shill so I am aiming for 1 queue position advance. Heeeey check out the best deals at OCUK.

Yes I will, as it arrives tomorrow :), unless CyberDerp is delayed again?

If you went for free delivery, that will take about a week. Even courier delivery is delayed (it states it on their site).

I'm not counting on anything until I get that despatch email, but I'm not in a rush like most people.

I've been silently following this thread from the beginning as I had pre-ordered a 3090 Strix OC from OCuK.
I managed to bag a Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme last Friday delivered the next day and cancelled my Strix, I was in position 27 at time of cancellation.
If you're a buyer of electronics, I suggest checking between 10am and 12pm...it appears this is when stocks are replenished.
Good luck to you all and hope you receive your cards soon.

Ok lets be honest it seems that the strix 3090 oc has gone completely silent, no deliverys for roughly 2 weeks. I need a few opinions, im position 123 on last check. I do not have the money to buy without first cancelling here. When do you think the new Nvidia card will be available, mayb I should just cancel and wait for that card, or try and find a 3090 from elsewhere. At the minute im waiting for christmas and if no further news to cancel, you think thats a gd plan guys?

hi has anyone got a zotac trinity 3090. I got my 2nd one. First one went faulty after 3 days! blacked out no display. Anyway setup my 2nd one now but im wondering on speed and temperatures of these cards.

Ingame on microsoft flight simulator which is prob the most intense gfx using game in the world my GPU temp was 79c! clock speed was 1780-1800mhz fans were 70% Is this normal?

was playing on Ultra mode.
