*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

The 3080Ti is not coming in January if at all and the rumours it's based are not very convincing and makes no sense for Nvidia commercially, what MAY come is a 3080 20gb SKU.

You sound very worried and alarmed. Rest assured the 3080ti is coming, Nvidia have a way to stamp their authority all over the rx6000 series, they'll absolutely take it.

We've had several convincing leaks all pointing towards a January release, it's coming!

They should concentrate on getting the 3080 and 3090 orders out the door first, I dont think it will be January if at all, most likely if anything does come out it will be march to april.

As if anyones getting a 3080ti in January.

There will still be a huge backlog of 3080's and 3090's come January, having released early-mid Sep

Im number 984 in the queue for a strix 3080. i thinking of jumping to the equivalent 3090. What are the queue like on 3090 Strix both OC and non please guys?

Everyone said that November was the month that they would be ramping up stock so I put my figures together over the last 2 months of waiting and i have seen the opposite so numbers are my position changes per week:
170/195/118/138/81/97 ..... why is production less now than it was when I ordered or is something else going on in the background as this quite frankly doesnt seem right to me and as positions go im still sitting in the 1300's for the Asus Tuf gaming. I just cant seem to fathom how if production was ramped up you would be getting less kit unless its going somewhere else?

Any takers ?

This is why you wont see the 3080ti in january, far to many still waiting for the 3080 and 3090 cards, not just here but all over. the 3080 cards even more so as many more orders for them. december might offer relief for some waiting, the 6800 AMD series and 5000 series CPU's are in the same boat. leaking supplies very slowly.

Just over 400 still waiting for the 3090 Strix Oc , around 500 places less than your 3080order but still not great tbh considering we are now at the end on November

The truth is the amount of cards they've been getting has been very low every week and most of your queue reductions have been due to people cancelling their cards. This week for example I fell 9 positions but there were no cards sent out at all, all 9 were cancellations. As you get lower down the queue there is less people to potentially cancel their orders so the queue appears to move slower.

In the past two months I think OCUK had less than 50 Strix OC 3090's but the queue at-least when I got into it was over 500 strong. I've since dropped to half that so around 200 at-least, cancelled who were ahead of me.

I think its just gets bloody annoying when you see this items hit a site for sale when Asus should be acknowledging the paid pre-orders, the level of vexation is mainly down to their performance due to process. No expectations have been set and nothing substantial has been provided throughout the duration of this incident so as customer relationships go there is a failing of Epic proportions & everyone is blaming OCUK for ultimately ASUS being crap at communication and not setting an expectation in any way. If you dont set something .. you cant manage it

Those leaks are as about convincing as your attempt to insult me. Why would I be worried or alarmed? I know the whole point of your original post was to try and aggravate people buying a 3090. Even if we believe the "rumours" of a 3080Ti there is not even a slightest chance of it being available anywhere near the 1st quarter of 2021 just based on the huge backlog of 3080 pre-orders that AIB partners are working to fulfil.

My KFA2 3090 SG arrived today. Also, it's not as chonky as I was expecting (that's an NZXT 510!)

Excellent temps. and running a little OC of +150 Core +1250 Mem. Need to stress test, but I've had no crashes yet from several runs of Port Royale.
Looking good bro, enjoy

Hello everyone,
I’ve followed this Forum right from ordering my Strix oc 3090 at 14:28 on it’s release and I’ve finally decided to join in the chat.
I’m in a bit of a dilemma, and wanted all of your opinions on what to do.
I sold my 2080 ti about 6 months ago to get as much as I could for it, and after joining this preorder and having to wait so long, have regretted it to no end.
So, I’m buying my mates 2nd hand 1080ti to push me on for now.
my concern is, if hypothetically there is a 3080ti and once OCUK and everyone else has added what they believe the Strix oc version should be sold at. I’m guessing it would be about £1300.00 for a card that’s pretty much going to run a couple of percent less than this one I have ordered on here. My worry is, when I come to sell my 3090 then in a couple of year when the next upgrade comes up, will it only be worth what a 2nd hand 3080ti is?
I mean, no one will want to pay what the 3090 should be worth 2nd hand would they? When the 3080ti is around that value brand new.
I suppose I’m concerned how much the resale value will degrade with this model?
Sorry for such a long message, I just don’t know if should hold out for a hypothetical 3080ti and cancel or stick with it, I’m only 76 in the queue now.

I'm giving it till Xmas then cancelling if no joy, what's the point in holding out any further as the ti is due January.

Yeah, well this is why I’m buying my friends 1080ti to push me on. Then if the value does degrade like it could possibly do, and I do cancel. Then I won’t lose as much in the long run.
I do really want the 3090, I’m just too concerned what affect the 3080ti will have on it.
Nvidia bringing out the 3080ti almost doesn’t make sense at a value of £999.00. Because it instantly makes the 3090 obsolete and devalues it as almost no longer sellable for them. This is why I think it’s questionable why they would do it.
