Wondering how much OCUK are getting in interest with your money in their bank while your waiting for months for your cards, and how much have they made from those who paid waited months then canceled?

correct, but I can feel for those that ordered with a credit card and are being charged almost 19% interest... while waiting to receive something they paid.

By the way, I had to return my TUF OC and bought a PNY instead since the Asus’s waterblock couldn’t fit in my case.
 
Ive cancelled my strix 3090 oc. Buying a 3090 FE instead then next year when stock is frequent will sell and buy a strix. Good luck to everyone waiting.

When I ordered strix 3090, I bought a insurance from simplesurance.
But I cancel 3090 last week, and get refund today.
How can i cancel insurance?

Yes. Installed and running. Getting over 2050-2100MHz easily for light use, 1960ish full load on Heaven Extreme. Board will go above 500W with +22%. Need to do more tuning but it desperately needs a waterblock to cool it (and for the backplate for which I have the MP5 bu haven't fitted it yet - memory gets very hot).
 
Question about refunds, I cancelled last weds and still have not received my money back. Anyone received theres? and at what time frame, thankyou

lmao, yeap completely dead nobody is buying them ha. Hey Space Monkey I think it was done about 4pm but I received a email from OCUK saying it had been sent back 9.50 thurs morning
 
I just cancelled my order for Asus 3090 OC, I was queue position 137 on 4th December email.

My 2080ti has been holding up well all this time. I convinced myself to spend £££ for a few more frames for the RTX 3090, but it's now so far from launch date.

Anyways, good luck to everyone else who is holding on.

Not sure about that. My GigaByte Aorus Xtreme (3 fans 4 slot) hits over 2100 at light loads and 1960ish at max load (BEFORE overclocking). With a waterblock front and back I expect well over 2000MHz full load.
Value for money, you're probably right.

Very interesting point. My own initial testing of the Aorus 3090 Xtreme (which is pretty close to the Strix OC) only gave 25% more FPS at 1080p increasing to 33% at 1440p and 2560x1600 in DX11 tests compared to my existing GigaByte Aorus 2080ti. Both were non-overclocked to get a like for like comparison.
Possibly better on DX12 and Ray Tracing, but haven't tried that yet. Waterblocks and OC might improve things as the Xtreme will go to 500W.
(Overclocking the 2080ti on water to max 370W without shunt modding only yields 10-15% improvement in FPS).

I am starting to think that is a wise decision. 2080ti owners should wait until the 3080ti comes out.
 
so glad I got my strix oc card elsewhere and cancelled when i was still 241 in the queue a couple of weeks ago. Seems like I wouldnt have moved much...........cyberpunk 2077 pro ordered as well and AW3821DW screen is here too :)
