Guys do you think these 3090s need to have some sort of a gpu bracket, mine is delivered tomoro and im getting a bit worried about this, should I buy one, use lego, support it close to the bracket with the gpu bracket that come with my case, what would you do if at all?
 
Finally received my MSI Ventus 3X OC yesterday, managed to secure one that popped up in stock at another very large online retailer. And with the added bonus of no VAT, so quite a bit cheaper than if I’d kept my OCUK order in place for the Strix OC, which still wouldn’t have arrived.

Haven’t had much time to play with it, but so far very impressed.

I’m going with vertical and been looking around and think I’ve found the perfect one for my case and trial fit, all look good. However if not going to mount vertical I would opt to fit bracket at the rear, likely craft one out of acrylic for custom fit as will look much more cleaner fit. Knowing how big/heavy it is.
 
I ordered my Zotac and waterblock 2 days ago but it hasn't been shipped yet. Both were in stock on the site so I assumed it would be sent out asap - is this because of workload at the moment? I'd have thought with all the shortages OCUK wouldn't have anything to send :p

The 3080ti is the card to be excited about :) 3090 is a terrible performance jump over the 3080.
 
@Gibbo any news re Asus 3090 non oc. Seems a slow one was 25 in q last update. Also items on special order psu and distroplate. I know everything is tight right now.

they are saying they are getting it but will it really arrive. Am sure if they did OcUK will receive some too. One retailer saying it’s delayed so it might be same case for others. This is why am asking about Strix 3090 to @Gibbo
