*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Well an idea a few days before ain't so bad.
"X items are expected in the next few days, though no definitive date until further info is given"

See that don't sound so bad does it?

Of course some would probably disagree, for myself I would find it helpful.

Which is exactly what they are doing!? When they know a solid reliable date, they are letting us know! They are doing all they can do.

I'll chip in and agree here. I think OcUK has done a really solid job thus far in a difficult situation not of its making, and I'm glad I chose them.

Yes, I chose OCUK because of how they made it clear they were going to handle the (pre-)orders and thus I knew exactly what I was getting into. I'd rather truthfully be told "you will know when we do" than be fed made up dates.

Actually no, it's X is arriving tomorrow.
Other retailers have expected dates, I fail to believe oc does not

I never doubted that oc are not doing all they can when it comes to securing stock, supplies are short, we all know that.

Anyway I don't want a petty arguement about it, it's just opinion.

Which would be a perfectly reasonable position were it not those dates have been false thus far – when they're hit, they simply move the goalposts. Me personally, I would prefer only to hear what is confirmed. I don't want the noise of 'might' arrive on X date. But you're entitled to prefer otherwise, obviously.

I don't mean any disrespect to oc, it's just personally, for me and me alone, that's would I would prefer

Or maybe I'm just bitchy as my friend that ordered from another retailer got his palit card today as they had stock in yesterday and oc did not.

Also a possibility :)

The bit I'm arguing with is this. Other retailers clearly have given either made up or very rough estimated dates which they cannot commit to! This is worse than "tomorrow we will" and sticking to it! Limited but accurate information that can be adhered to is more important than guesstimates and conjecture which cannot be stuck to or delivered upon.

This is my stance too.

Just checked a Facebook post asking about rog strix availability and ASUS have said they are sending frequent shipments to OC. Strange how no one has received a single rog strix so far then.

Maybe bit off topic but. What are the chances current 2080 ti strix with a ek vector waterblock changed to the new strix 3090 with ek waterblock to line up with current hardline tubbing? Would i have to cut new tubes to fit the new card?

Will do, thought they would have started to send shipping notification by now, fingers crossed the cards came in ok today
I guess they are still at the mercy of when the cards actually arrive to them today, then imagine there will be some faffing about in taking in the stock and processing etc.
