Just checked a Facebook post asking about rog strix availability and ASUS have said they are sending frequent shipments to OC. Strange how no one has received a single rog strix so far then.

Asus havent said how long it takes to ship them though.

I mean i could state if I was Asus that today we have sent 1000 cards to OCUK but that information is useless if its in a shipping container on a boat and wont dock for three weeks...................
 
I'm 8th in the queue for the Tuf Gaming OC they were due to have in today, no shipping notification so either they only had 7 in, none got delivered or they've not sorted them for shipping yet.

The message came from ASUS UK, so they were in country, apparently. I don't think they would be shipping them directly to OC from Asia, but rather a distributor or ASUS UK headquarters? Gibbo kind of suggested the latter in an earlier post. Distributors are clogged up like my toilets at work.
 
I would assume even if they arrived say today would take a day or two to dispatch.
Say they arrived at 3pm today they are then accounted for in their systems.
That could take a few hours depending how much they receive.
That may lead up to closing time.
They then have to pack the cards and send them out.
I’m not exactly happy them having my money before dispatch (guess I’m spoilt by A****n).
But at the same time give them a chance it’s not like they receive them in a stamped addressed envelope with our addresses on.

Sorry new to this forum, this was in response to someone suggesting ASUS shipped directly to OC.

Asus have said that for the moment due to the demand they arent doing normal deliveries and are bypassing the normal distribution network and are using DHL express to ship the cards direct from themselves to EU retailers (subject to certain conditions) and will be making deliveries a few times per week.,

Also Covid protocols, handling etc. Must be slowing things down.
 
Pulled the trigger on the ASUS strix, I've had no email yet on que position tho.
Think they doing them weekly or as stock is received and sent out.
So weekly or as queue position changes.

Below is from the email I received.

You are currently in queue position 88. Please keep checking your emails, we will send an update after each shipment with your new position.

On the German ASUS facebook site they said they were sending all cards through DHL Express which is usually 1-6 business days.

Thats what I mean. Its pointless people getting exited if a manufacturer posts that they have "shipped 200 cards to the UK today" if they dont supply the extra information on how they shipped them. People then jump to the conclusion that the cards should land the next day and then get mad cause they dont hear anything.

Stock is coming through on all lines but not as fast as we would like. More will be coming in soon but I can't confirm when you receive as OCUK do the final allocations based on your backorder position. I know its frustrating but please believe we're doing everything we can to bring in stock as soon as possible

If I keep moaning about it and speculating wildly about what’s going on behind the scenes, will the shipment come quicker?

should have just bit the bullet and pulled that trigger earlier.
