** NVIDIA GTX 1080 FOUNDERS EDITION: WANNA PRE-ORDER?

Same for me - by the time payment was cleared, stock had been allocated elsewhere. Cancelled and re-ordered a custom cooler EVGA job - maybe a blessing in disguise, even though I still have to wait!

Sadly seems I missed the cutoff point after a quick call! All orders were filled prior to my order which completed 1:56 seems I was too slow lol :eek: Cards will be arriving mid month or some other brands trickling in mid next week. Normally go EVGA for thier warrenty, but mid month :o
 
My order went in at 13:57 ... i messed the checkout up tho by not selecting Saturday, maybe a pointer when you registered the code to manually select Saturday delivery wouldve been nice. Even so at least it was shipped and im not waiting a few week like some are :)
 
Next day delivery is always next working day it's been like that on every site for years.
Too many over excited people wanting the latest toys.

Would be interesting to know the percentage of people who actually notice a difference in games over there old card. Price over performance I guess will be very low. Maybe someone can do a poll thread.
 
yep same thing happened to me... but I had to call them to find out my order was delayed! no email no nothing bit upset with OC to be honest but ha ho was told when I called them 10/15 June for stock...... what card should I order now!

Was a no brainer for me. I made the mistake of going crossfire 2 x 280x 3yr ago when the R9's came out instead of the 290X. Was going to get a 980ti a few month ago untill i heard these were around the corner. Happily sold my 280x's for 200 last week, goodbye AMD, goodbye crossfire, goodbye crappy AMD drivers, goodbye stressed unstable factory overclocked cards and GOODBYE windchill from trying to keep it all cool!!! The most reliable gfx card ive had upto now was a 6950 refrence card which is still going strong in another machine, one of the reasons ive opted for a refrence card with gtx 1080 if i want it overclocking ill do it myself :) - will i see a difference in game? Hell yes since i dont upgrade every new card, when i do its a big step. :)
 
Good I read this thread, I messaged them to got my changed to the free saturday delivery. Got told the next bunch of cards are due on friday 3rd, fingers crossed thats the case. I ordered a EVGA FTW :)

only 33, Pfff thought there would be more :confused: it is a great card of the price comparatively.

Sure do hope it comes out next Friday, but will only get it Monday as it is coming to my work.

I do hope it's wrong for your sake but there was a tweet from EVGA's UK Twitter account yesterday saying the ETA for FTW's in the UK was late June :(

Something tells me there is no way it will be ready next week.. usual story, o well will have to soldier on through Doom with my 960.

Hi guys

I will do my best to keep threads updated with ETAs on the cards in the coming weeks.

Plenty of Founders coming in next week and then should get schedules for SC and FTW early next week while I am at Computex.

I will update where I can. At the moment first SC stocks around 9th/10th June and then FTW the following week 16th/17th June.

Please dont take this as gospel though. Please bare with me and I will do what I can.
