Yeah it'll be SLI, what is the thickness of the HoF?

I have a white build so it'll look the dogs gonads.

Still, I really like the look of the exclusive 970 reference cards.

Is there any news on when the HoFs are in Gibbo? If its hijacking the thread, apologies.

Also, Is there any deal that could be done on two 970s and the Acer XB280HK 4k Monitor. Its all on the shopping list.

Drop a post in CS section (pre-sales) and I shall reply to you there. :)

You want Ref GPU's for SLI, the Titan cooler is not like previous Ref coolers and this version may have a vapour chamber if I remember Gibbos specs correctly.

Hi there

No such thing as a reference 970 exist, everybody wants one but you can't get one!

Well I've changed that, we are now offering this:-

OcUK GeForce GTX 970 "NVIDIA 970 Cooler" 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card @ £319.99 inc VAT

GX-205-OK_400.jpg

The new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980/970 is powered by the next generation NVIDIA Maxwell Architecture, giving you incredible performance, unmatched power efficiency, and cutting-edge features.

Maxwell is the most advanced GPU architecture ever made, designed to be the engine of next generation gaming. Inspired by light, it was designed to solve some of the most complex lighting and graphics challenges in visual computing. For the first time, gaming GPU's can dynamically render indirect light using the new VXGI (Voxel Global Illumination technology). Scenes are significantly more lifelike as light interacts more realistically in the game environment.

The GTX 980 is the worlds fastest GPU and the GTX 970 offers the most advanced performance in its class. Each delivers 2x the performance of previous-generation card, bringing new gaming experiences to virtual reality, and ultra resolution 4k displays.

Enable the detail of 4k monitors, on a 1080P display. DSR produces smoother images by rendering a game at a high resolution, then downscaling it to the native resolution of the display using advanced filtering.

GeForce GTX 980 and 970 cards support tear-free, super-fast NVIDIA G-Sync monitor display technology including 4k. Together, these technologies provide the most immersive and competitive gaming experiences possible.

It has taken me a lot of work to make this happen, the card is built using the NVIDIA GTX 970 cooler, hence the price as its very expensive but it is the most efficient cooler especially in SLI, particular 3-way. Its a full size PCB as well so no cut backs there.

So those who asked, I have made it happen and OcUK bring you what could be the only reference design 970 in the world. :)

I don't understand why you didn't mention the most important aspect of this card which is the coil whine reduction or is that a different card?

This for sure, the G1 is a little louder for sure.
Thanks. Siding with the G1 if there's not much in it, I do like this reference design but the cost difference isn't insignificant.

Might wait for the EX OC CWR Infinity Edition and see what that's all about.

In short it is a 970 EX OC Black Edition but instead it has an all nickel plated IO plate, heatsink, heatpipe and it is all jet black in colour with backplate. Then it also has the inductors housed in different containers and they are then glued to the PCB. We've also had the factory overclock increased as well to 1329MHz boost minimum which matches the G1 and in my testing it was boosting happily out of the box with no overclock to 1404MHz, which is very impressive.

It is designed with an 8 Pack look/image with all black design, right down to the I/O plate and the look shouts absolute quality, it is all metal construction apart from fans and it being all black in colour means it works well with all motherboard designs/colours. :)

Overclocking wise, well I have tested one card, so it cannot be taken as what they will all achieve but it was able to run Heaven 4.0 at 1620MHz core and 8400Mhz memory which is a very good result.

If you think it is the card for you we have scheduled our launch time for 12:01 next Friday in UK, Germany and Hungary. We hope to have external reviews going live at the same time also! :)

Will it actually be available that soon? When would you anticipate these being in customer's hands?

The card is actually for my brother who wants low noise and doesn't want to bother OCing, so the black would be better if it was comparable to the reference noise wise under load.

What's the TDP limit on the reference? I've seen some reviews report throttleing on some cards because the TDP limit is low. They OC well but throttle so the average clockrate was much lower than the OC.

Hi! Couple of questions:

1) Do you have a price for Infinity version yet?

2)When will it be available for pre-order?
