NVIDIA Preparing GK180 Based Tesla K40 “ATLAS’ GPU With Over 4 Teraflops Compute Performance

Your arguments are busted.

Go and play some of the games I have listed on max settings.

The way forward is an 8gb version of the R9 290X

The thing is. At the time when some people where buying 2gb Nvidia cards over 3GB AMD cards there existed numerous, though not frequent examples of when 2GB was not enough for some scenarios.

Now there exist no examples and scenarios where 4GB R9 290X would be insufficient.

Your arguments are busted.

sand dune no one is arguing except you.
I see people stating there case wether you choose to agree is your choice.
Your continued use of terms such as "Your arguments are busted" "In that case you should look at my arguments numbered 2 and 3" will result in an infraction and possible holiday consider this a warning - TBag

What kind of bias is that? I honestly don't know what exact terms I can use in my argument and I learn from answers that people give to me.

You can spot "your arguments are busted" just a couple of posts before I used it, directed at me.

Can you please explain yourself?

There are plenty of examples where 4gb is not enough, some of us have first hand experience. Some of the guys using Titans regularly go over 4gb at high resolutions and can quote first hand.

Do you have any first hand experience you can quote from.

The graph below makes interesting reading and the resolution is not even 4K

I will be happy to see when 4GB is not enough and reducing gaming experience. Only not in case of Skyrim. It's a very bad example. Skyrim is a community project, i.e. all it's mods. It will eat any amount of memory you throw at it if you load enough mods.

I read PCper's review on 4K gaming and they agreed that AA was still needed to reduce the jaggies. Crysis 3 used 4.6GB (iirc) at 5760x1080 for me with all the details up fully. Not sure if that much is needed but that was what was reported on usage.

The graph on the previous page doesn't show whether that is peak or average memory usage either, or how long they tested each scenario for.

People have reported spikes well over 2gb on BF4 at just 1080p, and there's still some Ultra settings to come on full release.

At least we can get back on topic now :)
