Lol this morning the classified was £460, it's now £575 The windforce has gone up £100 as well!

They probably just defaulted to the original pricing when they went out of stock. I'd be surprised if they stayed at that.

Sub £390 for a 780 is pretty swell though.

The EVGA is about a cm longer. It's my fault, i didn't even consider the length. I fell like a bit of an idiot.


Oh well, it shall be an excuse to upgrade soon! lol

Question is, do i RMA the EVGA now or hang onto it? I cant use it at the moment, so it seems silly keeping it, but by the looks of the pricing today.....

Sounds like the ideal excuse for a new case. Win7 is still great imo and there's no need to upgrade that.

Gibbo confirmed that the lightning is correct at 499 sadly. Can't see many people spending that much extra for it over the other ones.

Hey gibbo any figures on how the price drop has affected the 290x sales?

Slightly reduced, but they have all sold out again over-night and I'd put the prices above £500, so the demand still seems huge for R290X, but not as huge as it was, but whilst everything is selling out, means demand still far outweighs supply.

My forecast for future deliveries on R290X is very small amounts of stock, which will no doubt keep the pricing high.

Single 770 4Gb isn't much good as when you reach the point where you need 4Gb video ram, the 770 GPU won't keep up.
