** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES (3090 / 3080 / 3070) NOW ONLINE AT OcUK **

Stock is starting to come in more frequent across the RTX range not a lot mind you to make a difference to demand and you also have all the PC builders hoarding stocks for obvious reasons also where things are improving is with the old GTX models if you do not mind paying £50 to £100 over top for a GTX1060 or £400 plus for a GTX 1660 Super   It`s all getting better but very slowly give it a few more months.

I do not believe there will be any 3080 until next year. Not when the queue foes down by a few units weekly and that hasn't once changed in a year. I can't see it changing without a miracle. That issue is no longer just supply and demand. There is now an element of corruption with theft, scalpers, and scamers as well as the wholesaler and retailer both deciding to make up their covid loses through false scarcity and inflated prices. Greed is why you won't see anything for another 6 month...maybe forever more.

OCUK say on the selling forums that no profiteering is allowed but yet they've upped their prices due to the shortage and wouldn't this be profiteering?

Did you read any of the threads? ScottB has said on many occasions that IHV`s and Distributors (importers) are hiking prices - so either they buy in increasingly expensive cards and sell at a tiny margin , or have no product at all.

No I didn't read any of the threads but I would rather they didn't sell them at all.
And what exactly does that gain you? The stock ocuk are allocated would just end up going to less scrupulous vendors who really do take advantage of the shortage and hike prices rather than increasing where they *have* to due to increases further up the chain. I can think of a few major online retailers who are flogging cards at a few hundred £ over the MSRP just because they can get away with it...

For me it ruins the brand.

So they’re buying from profiteers then?

If that's what you're calling the makers of yhe products and the importing companies....

If they’re profiteering then they’re profiteers.

can’t stop people doing on one hand whilst encouraging it with the other.

unless these ridiculous prices have completely justifiable reasons of course...
