** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES (3090 / 3080 / 3070) NOW ONLINE AT OcUK **

It's stupid that the 3090 is released later. It's the big boy card so I don't see why they are delaying it. Cynically I think the 3080 stock will run out and then they'll try get people to buy the 3090 instead.

Feels like I need to try and buy a 3080, and then a week later try and buy a 3090. I'll resell/return the 3080 if I get both.

What I don't want to do is miss the 3080, then miss the 3090.
you will be able to get a 3090 easily a lot of people are not prepared to pay that much the pascal upgraders is the ones that will drive up the 3080 sales.

Yeah at £830 I was like nah no thanks, but at £799.99 even though it's such a meagre difference it makes it the cheapest 3x 8pin card and I have an inkling that it's the 3 pin cards that are going to be the higher binned cards. Maybe I'm just talking out of my backside with that, but it seems logical.

Do you think we'll get any comprehensive review round-ups today? I would like to pick one up but it feels like a stab in the dark with the limited info on offer. My gut is telling me to stick to Asus or Gigabyte.

I was tempted at £750 but the bump of £50 for no reason has put me off, I've seen the same card elsewhere for £750~ so I'll just wait and buy somewhere else.

Now I have a couple of Rigs - I now look for the value proposition - in my head I can save £150 and have slightly more noise and less FPS but that can go towards another 3080 in another rig hehe

^^ someone is watching the pricing and the cards very closely :P, I'm actually quite drawn to the Zotac 3080 Trinity at that price but my head is shouting at me to pay the ASUS tax so that the card matches my ROG motherboard.... damn you and my OCD :(

That's for the cards available on OCUK anyway from what I've been able to find

Are they available on OCUK though? I can't help but feel this is a paper launch and our pre-orders won't be shipped till goodness know when. If fortunate enough to get a pre-order that is ...

We won't find that out until 2pm by the looks of it. When the site updates whatever OCUK have in stock will say "order" and whatever they don't will say "Pre-order"
