** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES (3090 / 3080 / 3070) NOW ONLINE AT OcUK **

Take your own advice fella, you're literally saying "nobody should be angry because more important things are happening in the world"...
There are always more important things happening in the world so either you're a hypocrite or you've never been angry in your life LOL :D

i've been angry just never over a toy

to all who have 3080 10gb pre orders, cancel as there are rumors that a 20gb card will be launching soon to coincide with big navi release, why pay the jacked up prices when a 20gb card wont cost much more, or hell if amd's cards are the same but cheeper, best off holding on to your cash for a bit longer imo
Why? All the reviews say 10Gb is fine, and I can just about afford a 3080, after the price hiking we saw on the 3080 I’m guessing the same will happen with the 3090 pushing it to the £1500-1600 range and the 20Gb 3080 will prob sit at the £1100-1200 range which is too expensive for my tastes. After all G6X memory is not cheap. And I only play at 1440p so the 3080 is overkill as it is.

How long does it take to get a refund. I filled out that form when it came out but heard nothing.

I just canceled as well, they said in the out of stock email they"d prioritise the cancelation so I hope canceling doesn't take as long as communication at OCUK.

They did seem pretty clear to me with the whole page that everything was pre order.
Yes, But also when you bought the card it had a specific date, In my case the 22nd Sep with the Eagle 3080. Now its when ever, im wondering if I will even get it this year. Im just glad that paypal changed their claim time window to 6 months, Although I wouldnt wait that long

Im in such a poop situation like some others a got rid of my 2080ti ready for this launch and now left a 2k paperweight so I'm at the point of do I wait or just preorder and hope I get it before Christmas

What I did was sell my RX5700XT In anticipation but also bought a cheapish second hand Rx570 off fleabay to at least be able to use my pc, will sell it after I get my 3080, I should get close to at least not loosing more than a tenner when I sell it.

Order an RX590 or something a standin - you won't loose very much if anything on it while you wait for your order to be filled

So e more updates from ocuk would be good at the moment everyone is in the dark about predicted stock levels and where we stand with each card.

If we were more informed I would be able to make a sensible decision on whether to grab an Asus tuf and a cheap stand in gpu or wait

Do you expect the 3090 launch to go as bad as this did or the fact its double the price will mean some stock will be left on the shelfs ? I think a big part of the problem was the 3080 being somewhat of a bargain in the price /performance bracket so was always going to have crazy demand ... how many are prepared to pay double the 3080 price for an estimated 20 to 25% performance increase

That will be because unlike other vendors they still have listed at retail price without the £40 greed tax

I will say again NVIDIA is rebating gpu partners $50 for sales in september so cards expected to ship after that cut off will have that extra cost passed on to consumers. Edit Moores law is dead did a video detailing that issue, Asus Gigabyte etc were upset at having to eat the chunky triple fan cooler cost on £650 $700 models so the $50 was to offset that higher production cost while hyping the "cheap" £650 $700 mrsp to everyone.

In that case i Might just bite the bullet and pre order an Asus tuf and hope it comes before Christmas i guess
