I'd say that the higher cost won't put the scalpers off, so be prepared for more of the same if Nvidia don't improve their website to combat bots.Do you expect the 3090 launch to go as bad as this did or the fact its double the price will mean some stock will be left on the shelfs ? I think a big part of the problem was the 3080 being somewhat of a bargain in the price /performance bracket so was always going to have crazy demand ... how many are prepared to pay double the 3080 price for an estimated 20 to 25% performance increase
I've cancelled my pre-order and going to wait for the mentalness to calm down No major rush anyway, my 1080Ti is absolutely fine still

For those of you with AmazonPay still pending I messaged support about this. They said that the AmazonPay will timeout and cancel.
