When it comes to AMD though, people wont say wow its on par with a 3080, they will simply shoot it down for being on parr/slightly better than 2yr old tech 2080ti. Happens every launch. . .

I think this time, finally, AMD may have an a architecture that can trade blows with Nvidia. Hence the halo 3090 that a miniscule amount of folk will buy, so Nvidia will still have the fastest card.

I'm actually relieved AMD have kept it under wraps after their embarrassing 'poor volta' jibes.

Pretty much this, FE for me or I will just wait till the end of the year, OC seems to be doing this on a regular basis the lat couple of years.,

Remind me again, did Volta ever become a gaming GPU? Nope, so what does it matter? Maybe the "poor Volta" thing was a jab at a card that might have been earmarked to become a gaming GPU but didn't for other reasons.

yeah, their silence is somewhat reassuring. But then again if they had something so good, would they not be releasing a bit more than computer generated pictures?

I'm gonna probably buy an FE, but to be honest i'm not even sure I want it. (Well want isn't word I mean having time for gaming over next few months)

I just want to make sure if I do end up getting can I resell it (unopened) on OCUK mm for the price I paid for it?

Would they allow that since it's not profiteering? I just don't want to end up missing the boat and waiting months for stock.....and if in next couple weeks things change in my life and I've not got time for it I can just sell it on.

hmmm not sure. I've a Titan Pascal in my main gaming rig, a Titan Pascal in my stream rig and a 1080ti in my sim racing rig so at the moment I'm waiting on AMD to reveal it's cards and what price before I look at possible upgrades.

Although one of the Titan Pascals will be sold around Xmas so I do need something to replace it with, I'm just not sure how I will juggle the cards around with the monitors I have. Maybe I'll put the 1080ti in the streaming rig and sell 1 of the Titans and then buy something super powerful to put in the triple 1440p sim rig as I need most power for that.

Why do you ask?
