** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

Founders Edition cards are built for Nvidia. Previously we have seen partners using reference PCBs with their own coolers but that is not really an option this time.

I’ve not even seen any FE cards being listed at retailers. Perhaps they are completely exclusive to Nvidia this time.

40% is that manipulated Raytracing or in non RT games? What is the actual difference at 4k in the Witcher 3 and non RT games? I do not trust Nvidia it would be pretty easy to hoodwink people these days as thier all willing to swallow PR.


All i need to do is use those games we were in the developers ear with RT development, They were people we probably helped for free to get RT in thier games. So now we got first gen RT forced, I will now launch all future GPUs with new RT generations and base all my gains on that. For someone like me who knew this was why Nvidia wanted RT out prematurely i now suspect everything they say is skewed and using Raytracing.


Having a 40% fps gain in no RT games, Over a 2080ti would be decent, But i dont considering Nvidia as that kind of company who do decent things. My mind says 40% at best in chosen RT scenarios and much less elsewhere. Maybe 25% at most.

I get were your coming from but the increase would also depend on what card your coming from

Id expect least 20-30% from my 1070, if any one is on say 1060 or below they would likely see the 40% they claim.

As you said though it's all PR, numbers easily adjusted to what they wanna claim

We shall see soon, Apex, CoD whats where i want to see the comparisons. Using Quake 2 RT etc is a joke. But Nvidia can do what they want AMD is not here to object to it are they. Its a free for all for Nvidia atm so why would they give people value now huh?


Maybe Jensen met the ghost of upgrades past present and future and became a new man! ;)

Yup we need real term benchmarks from usual places.

AMD cards are generally better value always and tbf the performance they give isn't bad anyway. I used to love team red but I feel I always have too many issues with them (hell my 3 faulty RX cards by them was last straw)

I hope AMD come out strong and do match Nvidia performance wise as would make it far more interesting

I think they'll still be negotiating with AIBs and deciding stock requirements. @Gibbo said he's expecting big volume and he's generally on the ball.

Borderlands 3 +81.6%
Doom Eternal +84.2%
Shadow of the Tomb Raider +69.8%
Control +77.6%
Ray Tracing: Quake 2 RTX +92.3%
Ray Tracing: Control/High RT/DLSS Perf +77.6%

So up to 50% faster than 2080ti in none RT games. Even faster in RT games.
