** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

WHAT A SHAMBLES. All of the above mentioned problems I went through, and even was on the phone to OCUK at 2pm while trying to order online while the site was crashing to the floor! I did manage to speak to someone, but by that time I had an order chugging through on my mobile phone...
A few minutes past 2 it was my phone that allowed me to progress, while ocuk on my laptop went to ****!! And the guy on the phone said it was all pre-order only. Great.

I had no way of knowing what stock was available or anything, I could barely login.

Long story short, Ive got a Order timed at 2:11pm. I received payment confirmation shortly after from PayPal, OCUK email came through, 3.5 hrs later. And I think my order is actually a PREORDER!! WTF. Why did I bother?
In my account order status is still showing its waiting for payment confirmation. Even though its gone through PayPal and is shown on my credit card.

At least its some progress, as NVIDIA's own website, was just one big fat lie!!! Straight from Notify Me to Out of Stock, in the blink of an eye, Wow!

Gutted I'd sold my 1080Ti last week now :(

Ah come on people calm down, you know you will forgive and forget this soon. It’s nvidia we are talking about here.

Now had AMD done this, they would be getting slated for the next decade with gifs galore :p

Don't worry about missing out on the non existent FE cards, the Asus TUF card seems quite a bit better in reviews at the same price :p or was at the same price
Yep. So glad FE was not available, the ASUS TUF actually looks like one of the best ones, at least for the price anyway. I paid £649.99.

Is your order still showing as awaiting payments status?

Basically if you look at youtube all over now people are pretty sure bots bought a bunch of these....

The nvidia website had no protection whatsoever against this. Well done. Morons.

There is a twitter with a bunch of scalpers proudly sharing how many they have bought using bots.

Yep i just checked it again and it's still saying that now
Yeah it got a good write up on Hardware Unboxed. Shame it looks a bit childish with the tyre tread pattern on it.
I don't think it looks that bad overall, the lighting is more subtle as well than some of the other cards

I had no way of knowing what stock was available or anything, I could barely login. I just went for the Zotac 3080, and tried my best.

Long story short, Ive got a paid order for the Zotac 3080 Trinity at £698, (listed higher at present £719). Order timed at 2:11pm. I received payment confirmation shortly after from PayPal, OCUK email came through, 3.5 hrs later. And I think my order is actually a PREORDER!! WTF. Why did I bother?

Virtually the same situation, same card too, paypal account shows the funds as taken, but no email from OcUK, but does show as an order on my account along with a order number.... Fingers crossed

Has anyone else ordered a ASUS TUF 3080 (the non OC version) and had an dispatch email? If so what time did you order?

Its better than some of them. Jaz2Cents did a vid on the EVGA card earlier and basically had a 5 minute rant on the aesthetics. I do agree with him, why make these cards look like toys? Give us nice sleek metal finishes with a touch of RGB highlighting - win. 90% of the designs are awful.

As an update, the retailer I managed to get a card from a midnight has provided me with a tracking number and it's out for delivery for tomorrow. Looks like I got really lucky, this launch has been a complete and utter mess.

Only thing wrong with the evga card is that red portion at the end. As for the rest of his rambling about why they redesign coolers...is he that thick to not realise that higher power consumption gpu's will need better cooling? It's a balancing act between thermals and acoustics, what works for one generation might not work well for another. His "not broke don't fix it" rhetoric doesn't apply to gpu's.

Can you picture walking into a store, taking a product off a shelf and it's priced, then walking to the till and being told "sorry sir due to the exchange rate changing 5 milliseconds ago this will cost another £50".

Exactly it is beyond ridiculous, it really has boiled my blood, I've been a forum member for almost 15 years and a customer to that extent also, yet we see the usual lies and BS on product launches, why are they trying to shaft the customer base like this? is it really worth it

An article from 2004, great to see that **** all has changed in the last 16 years.

An utter farce. NVIDIA have made a huge mess up today. The web store had zero protection against bots..
