** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

Was on a call to OCUK, took 40 minutes to reach them and all they said is that they can't give dates and just have to wait. I ordered the Zotac model.

They have taken your money so under distance selling the product has to be with you within 30 days or they are breaking the law.

I was one of those people refreshing the page like mad at 2pm, but as soon as I saw "Pre-order" against literally every card, I stepped back and decided not to try for a card. As I argued at the start of the month, this was a release date for a pre-order date, but actually it's worse than that because no one knows if they will be getting their card on the date shown - I'm sure more people bought cards than the anticipated stock levels. I wasn't willing to do that myself.

Does anyone else think there is a chance that for those of us waiting to buy when there is stock in store, that we might be waiting til 2021?

It's only a "want" rather than a "need" for me anyway.

I haven't much interest in ray tracing in its current state, and the 1070 is still handling 3440x1440 surprisingly well, more than I expected when I went to that rez from 16:9 1080p.

AND... I'm also waiting for DCS to be sorted too.... So no rush there then...

First post here.

I ordered the Zotac card in a panic at around 5pm when I saw that there were 9 in stock (not pre-order with a date). After my order went through it still said 2 in stock.
Currently the order status is "order received - not yet shipped" did I get lucky or was the website still glitching and there weren't any actually in stock? They took my money anyway.

I then ordered the Asus Tuf which had an ETA of 21st Sept. Same order status and they took my money again.
I want to cancel one of the orders but nobody is picking up the phone.
Can i take your reserve pre order slot for the asus tuf card :)

From what I've been told there were are 1700 pre orders of the MSI 3080 Gaming X Trio alone.

Chances of getting one before Christmas are slim and to expect a mass email once OCUK get a stock update from Nvidia.

Anyo knows anything about the eventual X Trio stock arriving today (at least the ETA yesterday afternoon / evening was 18.09)?
I managed to order at ~14:30, I wonder if I have any luck today or have to wait for how long?

I got my order in around 15:10 and am approximately 3-600 in the pre order queue. If that helps.

Any word of if the pre-orders are based on first come first serve? If only I'd read the forum first and seen which ones were in stock on the day......

They have taken your money so under distance selling the product has to be with you within 30 days or they are breaking the law.

It isn't quite that simple...

Under "The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013" (which replaced the "Distance Selling Regulations") the following applies:

"There is a default delivery period of 30 days during which the retailer needs to deliver the goods to you unless a longer period has been agreed."

So if an ETA beyond 30 days was stated then that longer period applies. If nothing was stated then 30 days is assumed.

... but if they fail to deliver within 30 days it doesn't mean they are 'breaking the law' it just means you have the option to cancel or agree a new delivery date.

... and of course you have the option to cancel anyway.

These are civil matters regulated by law but the penalties all revolve around giving the consumer the right to exit from the contract and receive a refund, or in some cases extending the period when that right applies, nothing more.
